Fella, your channels constantly low dislikes tell a tail of your top content and sincerity/integrity thanks for supporting the UK forces. You would be welcomed in the UK. Well done to the subscribers and have a safe Christmas. Lyndon.
i appreciate it!
Love your content and liveth for evermore's content too.
Love from England brother.

This is the benefit of being a small island. Its easy to defend/mobilize troops
@@okayboomer3292
What an ugly opinion
In some respects that's true but because of the other tiny islands dotted around the UK that expand the territorial waters to quite a vast area. Add in Britain's overseas territories and the British Navy has nearly 7 million square KM to defend. You only have to look at the logistics of the Falklands deployment to see that sometimes that's no small endeavour.
4 helicopters is standard. Two Merlin for fast rope and two Wildcats for sniper cover. Usually have frigate support on standby and Ribs approaching ship hull for going up hull sides if required. Divers can check hulls for explosives as required. Merlins replaced the Seaking helicopter and the Wildcat is the next iteration of the Lynx. Still the worlds fastest attack helicopter.
Yeah you're learning some classic towns and cities. Margate is the archetypal seaside town in that British style that goes back a century. Piers with arcade machines, small rollercoasters, candyfloss, ice creams, and lots and lots of very pale British people sitting, sunbathing or picnicking on the beach!
Your enthusiasm and obvious respect for our much loved SF is wonderful to see. Thank you. I've only recently discovered your channel and I love your content. Such a lovely person! Keep up the good work!
The phrase over here is "back home for tea and medals" 🤙
In the UK we always expect our forces to be the best. Special Forces dont attract a lot of publicity, but we know if they are going in then its about to end quickly!
How fantastic to see an advert for a charitable cause. Very noble of you sir!
Another great vid, and if you ever need any teabags giz a shout, where ever you are in the world mate. Cheers.
More brilliant content.
Don't know if it's just me but seems like you have a right shed load of us British followers/commenters
I really hope you get the chance to visit Britain once your tour's over and the Covid thing's finally defeated. You have an awful lot of supporters here, not just because you do these kinds of videos but because of your wonderfully balanced, intelligent and expert commentary, how you conduct yourself (which is exemplary), and what you do to make the world a safer place for everyone.
I'm pretty sure that if you announced that you wanted to visit, a warm welcome would (somehow) be arranged.
"I heard that on the Triforce podcast" yessssss Theo, I remember seeing you in a Hat Films comments section once too haha
Aah bless you. Never been to Margate? It's an old English Sea-side resort...Victorian times. Keep up the good work Sir.
Another superb video mate. Your enthusiasm and professional insight is next level. Keep up the good work. Alex, UK.
Glad you take interest in our military bro happy Christmas
cheers from scotland, these [now countless] hours have not been wasted. im glad you're going home soon - i can see you're looking forward to it, from your videos!
A great pair of videos for you to watch is Jeremy Clarksons war stories. I can’t recommend these enough mate. Keep up the great work sir. Also, the look on Gavin Williamson’s face is a look of “this is only going to end 1 way” 😂
Another great video mate. And another example of not messing with our special forces.
Just so you know, across the water from Kent where Margate is is a place called Southend on Sea which has the worlds longest pier. It was hit by a ship way back in day light which was kind of strange and funny
I think that pier caught fire once aswell. That pier has had a rough life.
haha weird
Definitely not the worlds longest pier
@@CombatArmsChannel The pier is just over 2 kilometres in length. It is that long so that vessels can load and disembark passengers at low tide. When I was young you could take a day trip to Southend by river, starting in the centre of London, go through London docks which were at one time the busiest, and on to Southend pier. At least one of the venerable passenger vessels did the round trip to Dunkirk to rescue the BEF. I know this, the old lady brought back my father.
The SS Richard Montgomery (a WWII American Liberty ship) is another interesting issue for Kent (I'm in the blast radius) and also Southend on Sea (Essex) - if that ship ever goes up I'll know about it! :-)
Great Video. I'm an ex-sapper 9 Para Sqn RE. Was attached to 3 PARA during the Falklands war.
Love your video dude, I live right on the sea front in Margate and watched the heli's fly over head:) big love from the UK:)
I look for your channel regular, you come over as nice guy, cheers from newcastle
When I think of Margate I can only think about Alphie Moon from Peaky Blinders. Alphie Moon- "I woke up and thought I was dead, and thought... If this is hell.. It looks a lot like Margate." XD
Such an underrated comment! 😆
Yes an easy day but, great training and the ability to assess whether they can improve in any way. I guess the SF will always strive to get better. Great video.
Happy Christmas mate. Have a good one. :)
I discovered your content a couple of days ago and I think your videos are great! I really like how unbiased your videos are, I also like how you have a massive pile of tea on the side in the background 😂
Sincerely, an Englishman 😂
Ocean Conservation Nambia Tee shirt.. Much respect.. love those guys :)
haha heck yeah!
You should do a vlog in the future about you visiting the UK that would be awesome🇬🇧🇬🇧 also happy Christmas🎄🎄
I live near Tilbury and I totally forgot about this 😂 This kinda thing is just another training day for our SBS boys.
I remember reading about this at the time and chuckling at it being over in 5 minutes, and the Nave Andromeda in 7. In the UK we are all so proud of our military and the high regard they are held in internationally, not just special forces. Makes it even more puzzling why anyone- armed or not- would try to hijack a ship like this knowing that the SBS would be coming for them.
Also, love the OCN t shirt. Santa is bringing mine :D
their seal videos are the first thing i watch each day haha
@@CombatArmsChannel Me too. Did you see the pup being born the other day? I was pushing right along with her! I always enjoy imagining their vocalisations are them swearing heartily, but that may be the Brit in me...
@@JustMe-ks8qc haha I did, incredible stuff
You listen to the triforce podcast!? no way xD Great reaction as usual, love the uploads!
haha, been a Yogscast fan for nearly a decade now
@@CombatArmsChannel that's mad that xD Have a good Xmas bud.
That was an interesting pronunciation of Yeovil by Liveth 😜
Two great channels though, keep up the great work 👍🏻
Another fantastic video. Much appreciated. Thanks for sharing these videos.
Ps.You're the coolest, most humble real American Squadie, on You Tube ever.
From a Loyal, British, Scotsman.

Mate, it's so cool that you know all about the Yogscast. Love your channel dude.
I was rather surprised about that
Honestly best American doesn’t dis brits at all love this guy
Love that ur a hat films and yogs fan
Thanks for the shout out for a good charity you are a good man. I always enjoy your videos always cool and properly good. Glad to have good allies like you i never understand why people in Europe say they don't like the USA I have a theory about it as i have never heard any bad things said about the American people or military and country until somebody puts a Camara on them and they hate the US and UK just to seem cool. We do have issues with politicians both ours and some of your ones on both sides.
I saw this ship at Tilbury port after it happened and it had 2 helicopters flying overhead observing it for over 24 hours after it happened. Probably just incase people were still hiding out. Most likely using thermal imaging and searching. Special Forces were still onboard. I was on the Ferry going to and going back from Tilbury Port so was quite close. It was immigrants getting into the UK
I like how you don't get into politics just information.
Moral of the story is, Don’t hijack a ship in the SBS play ground 🤣🏴
Always love the videos dude great content I live in wales uk so I’m learning more about my nations defences
Great content I’m a RAF air cadet
i'm sure they appreciate the chance for live operations over training exercises!
Imagine just being chill and hiding until the ship comes along side and then just walking off into the UK - these mongs seem to do the same stupid crap every time and then just get swatted by the SBS lol
Thank you for another great video, can you look at the sas battle of Mirbat, Oman 1972? Merry Christmas 👍🏼
No one, ever: Margate is a beautiful area.
I think you may have fallen victim to our world-famous sarcasm.. I bet it was back at the end of the 19th/early 20th century though..
Oh, another name option: “Ken-ya’ lend a hand?”
As to the publicity of the SF in the UK, the Iranian Embassy siege was a real shock for everyone. The whole attack was basically public, there was no way they could pull the curtain around the whole world of SF, this went world wide after that. I think all countries wanted to know what were they’re forces doing to safeguard their public.
How were we carrying out their training for potential scenarios, hence the killing room and aircraft entry and breach etc. cooperation went viral with NATO partners.
I'm sure the guy who does the liveth forever more channel is ex SF and still has pals in there giving him stuff for his channel. He knows far too much about just about every British operation and backs it up with photos/videos of the events that aren't available to the general public not to be.
Another cracking video mate, merry Christmas 🎄from the UK 🇬🇧
Nah, there's plenty out there on the web, just gotta know where to look.
Doubt it, as far as I can tell...he's a 20 yr old military historian from near Luton. Haven't seen anything in his videos that I haven't also found on the web...it's very handy of him to collate it all in one place, in video format though.
From his mispronunciation of many weapon systems I doubt it
@@Kolor-kode not to mention his mispronounciation of Torquay
Loving the Yorkshire tea! Have you tried Yorkshire Tea Gold? It's like the SAS of tea bags.
Where I'm from in Yorkshire (Hull) has a pretty funny story relating to the Iranian Embassy Siege you previous covered.
On Day 4 of the siege, it was also the Rugby League Challebeg Cup Finals at Wembley Stadium, London. Very close to the embassy. The final was between 2 Hull rugby teams.
The majority of the male Hull population had gone to London for the finals, and knowing about the siege from the news, many thousands of fans actually stayed in London to witness the siege for a further 3 or 4 days.
Anyways, the following week was known as one of the darkest in Hulls history, as many if the fans was in trouble with their wives and also getting sacked from their jobs due to staying over longer!
A good week for the SAS, a bad week for Hull
Chocks away old boy, job done and home for 🍵 and 🏅
Great shout out for Sapperprints.com Theo... Outstanding my friend 👍 Another Great Review...
Happy to do it! Thanks!
What would be good to react to if you could find anything is how Stansted airport is the UK's airport for high jacked aircraft or the place where any aircraft intercepted by the QRA are escorted to.
Ah the SAS helicopter - nickname "Blue Thunder" :D
No. 658 Squadron AAC 🤙🏼
@@cbr_n Yes.....nicknamed Blue Thunder, as in the helicopter is called Blue Thunder.
@@cbr_n its nick name is blue thunder. He is correct
You’re the man! Please, please check Exercise ‘Cambrian Patrol’. It’s an international military patrols competition run by Britain each year in the Brecon Beacons, Welsh mountains. It’s now in its 60th year and armies from all over the world send teams, Austria, Canada, Belgium etc. Two days over the mountains, carrying about 40-50 Kgs. Brutal. Including ambush drills, first aid, IEDs, range work. The Canadian army said they’ve never experienced anything like it... Check out the videos, they’re good and definitely worth reacting to. Keep up the great work! Cheers, ex 2 Para...!
All good training. 👍Cleared of hijacking and the four were sentenced to 32,31 and 16 months so probably living in a British council house somewhere now.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND SAFE TRAVELS!
you as well!
Congratulations on videos, great work.
If you want to know more about the sbs. Then u should definitely read the book zero six bravo, it has an American who's actually sbs and an Englishman who's actually delta. Brothers in arms

Naive Andromeda was Greek I think, great video
I never heard about this happening in the UK.
SBS is just as badass as the SAS
I commented on his video when it came out but ima do it again, tilbury is not in East London! 😂 it’s in Essex I can see it from where I live and we’re tired of east London trying to claim more of our land 😂
If u skip ten seconds forwards or backwards it looks like the elf dances

Brits always have such an cool call-signs.
Buckthorn is a type of spikey bush that grows on the UK coast.
You can use the berries to make a type of fruit jerky. Just a random fact for you :)
Should do a review on Ross Kemp in Afghanistan
We see the Merlin and Wildcats going off to Poole regularly, never know if it's a live op until after.
@Frazer. H One of those rare occasions.
Good stuff
How it *probably* went down
In a briefing room in Poole, a SNCO stands up
"Right lads, looks like we have a hostage situation
Dazzer, take Big Dave, fast rope down to the bridge and accept the surrender,
Scouse Mike, take Little Dave and Geordie Mike, hang out of the wildcats with sniper rifles looking Ally AF,
Sicknote you lazy f**k, for gobbing off at me yesterday, you get to bounce around in the channel on a
RHIB for 3 hours or so, before clambering up 200 rope ladder rungs in the dark and clearing the rest of the ship.
Right any questions, back here for tea and medals in 5 hours!"
Take a look at this channel. Interesting stuff.

Professional vs muppet... know someone some from that Squadron... he joined SBS as he got bored in the Royal Marines....
"Tilbury, East London" I remember meeting a guy who said he was from London and he was from Tilbury and we were all like, nah you're from Essex quit trying to act tough

Dude, hope you and yours had a cool yule and that you will be able to be with them soon, seems like you been away forever son. Props to you for giving a shout out to the guys doing charity stuff too. If you like a good read and heaven knows, I bet you have a lot of down time there, can I suggest a great book for you and your viewers ? It's called 'Braver men walk away' by Peter Gurney. It will make any decent person laugh a lot but also maybe shed a tear. It's secondary title is ' memoirs of the worlds greatest bomb disposal expert.' It covers his time from post world war II up until the IRA mortar bombed 10 downing street and he found himself sitting astride an unexploded bomb. I've read it four or five times now, and will soon read it again. Hope you have a happy and successful new year.
The andromeda was Iberia reg. Not sure who owned it
Cool intro
SBS - Special BOAT Service = Navy
SAS - Special AIR Service = Army
Seems legit LOL
Nice...👍.
I’m a big fan of the videos! Just a quick question tho... why do you always use “Marine reacts” in the title of you videos if you are currently in the Army?
It hits the TH-cam algorithm better haha. No one cares about a US Soldier's reaction I guess hahaha
Cool shirt fitting to the naval topic, have you been to Namibia? I wish you and your comrades happy holiday season and merry Christmas.
I've not unfortunately. I follow their TH-cam channel and love the stuff they do
If you’ve got Yorkshire Tea AND PG Tips in the background, you automatically qualify for a British citizenship. Trust me.
Eaaiest op ever
In all honesty, you are a very good American. You aren't constantly saying "oh our forces can do better" etc. and not only that but you know about our UKSF. However back to the story, SBS&SAS are the dream team, you put two units that are as good as one another (SBS and SAS are as good as one another, so don't argue with it because they both do a bloody rigorous training and are both highly trained in their separate fields, at the end of the day SAS isn't better nor is SBS. There is a lot more info on this on a lot of pages/videos explaining why SBS is just as good etc) then you just have the literal dream team(crikey I went on a bit 😆)
