She's like the Sharpay of descendants, to everyone shes the villain and nobody understood her, which made her have no control over her anger and became the villain in Disney's descendants 3. She's honestly my favourite character.
I feel bad for Audrey, people will call her a spoiled brat. But most people usually adapt the personalities from the people around them, that being her grandmother who also hated Villains! I think there’s a reason for the way she is and probably does deserve her happily ever after.
In the third movie her grandmother also mentions how Audrey should have been queen and how her mother could keep a prince in her sleep. She grew up thinking she would be queen and didn't think twice. It's how she was raised. When you really think about it, you can't blame her. She had all this pressure on her. I do not believe Audrey truly loved Ben, but it was more like she had to love him to be his queen. I feel like if her grandmother (and maybe mother) hadn't put the idea of being queen into her head it would have turned out so much different.
That's like saying it's okay to be racist because you grew up with racist parents. Audrey can hate Mal for stealing her bf, which she literally did, but it isn't fair of her to hate all villains because of that.
I feel what people forget is that the love spell that Mal put on Ben disappeared WAY before the coronation. Ben fell in love with Mal by himself. Sure, the spell may have helped, but it didn't complete their relationship.

She deserved to know the truth because while Ben was under a spell, what he did was awful. He sang a love song to another girl despite not having ended it with her in front of everyone. Ben entered a relationship and never once spoke to Audrey about it. While Ben is not at fault, it caused Audrey pain. Even if he didn’t want Mal’s decision to ruin the chances of other VK’s he should have have some sort of explanation & apology. Ben also deserved time to reflect on what Mal did instead of jumping into a relationship with her. I understand that it was how she was raised, but the VK’s needed REAL remedial classes cuz wtf????? Ben was a target of that SA-In-A-Bottle not once but twice! He is so lucky that Mal and Uma were really good people making bad choices, because it could have been way worse. That doesn’t take away from what did happen though (the emotional/social consequences).

Maturing is realizing that Mal saved Ben from being in a relationship he didn’t want to be in. You could tell in the first movie that Ben didn’t look in love with Audrey but he looked more in love every time he looked at Mal. Sure Mal stole Audrey’s life but no one expected Ben to actually be in love with Mal. All the VKs ever wanted was their parents to be proud of them and that’s why they did the things they did. I know it was wrong but in the end, they chose to not be like their parents. Both Ben and Mal apologize to Audrey at the end of Descendants 3. They all apologized to each and they left on good terms.

You know we can’t blame Audrey for being mad she’s been with Ben since they were kids, then all of a sudden Mal shows up and steals Ben, but Ben still loved her even after the spell was broken so I think Ben is still better off with Mal

She really wasn't. If Ben truly loved Audrey, then, after he dived into the enchanted lake and the love spell wore off the most logical solution would be to ditch Mal. But he didn't, because he fell in love with Mal. Also, Mal's intentions wasn't to break Audrey and ben up, she was using Ben for something (I forget what for) and overtime in the movie you can see as she hangs out more and more with Ben she lowers her defenses and really falls in love with him. He shows her new experiences and actually introduced her to the concept of love. That's what makes their relationship so beautiful/magical.
Then he didn’t mature at all because if you think being a spoiled brat is a mature thing to do or speed, a spoiled brat. It’s not a problem if you did not mature at all, that was ignorant what you just said, very ignorant for one thing, Mel is a villain, so what she did all the things that she did was made sense because she was supposed to be a villain anyway, but Audrey does expected things. Maturing is realizing that Mal saved Ben from being in a relationship he didn’t want to be in. You could tell in the first movie that Ben didn’t look in love with Audrey but he looked more in love every time he looked at Mal. Sure Mal stole Audrey’s life but no one expected Ben to actually be in love with Mal. All the VKs ever wanted was their parents to be proud of them and that’s why they did the things they did. I know it was wrong but in the end, they chose to not be like their parents. Both Ben and Mal apologize to Audrey at the end of Descendants 3. They all apologized to each and they left on good terms.
@@mena9852 this was years ago when i made this comment but i have a hate love realtionship with audrey AND mal because using someone isnt okay just because you end up liking them in the end, but its special for mal because she grew up in a not so good environment so i can understand that mal saved ben from audrey because all together audrey just wanted to be queen.
