Coach should do a video exclusively on the clap, and all of the setups to it 😅

I was drilling this takedown yesterday at gym but instead of blocking knee we were hooking the leg

Great variation… I didn’t talk about it this time but I usually do.

my friend, it is totally wrong. first of all, no one sits still in mma, and secondly, you don't go headfirst into the opponent's arms and knees. there are two options. the first, jab-overhand (with a change of guard) and come out with your head behind his leading hand, having access to the leg in front, or jab-cross with movement to the left, entering the weak plane (perpendicular to the line of the opponent's legs) and have double leg. anything else is very risky, you enter directly into his line of attack.

Respectfully I think you need to keep an open mind. There are many ways in this game.

@@markbowen8461 all of us, even the elite fighters, have to learn new things. Brian is a great trainer, I have adopted many of his techniques, but when it comes to striking-takedowns...it's as I say. peace brother !

about ground and pound....just do it, just play and you will see that some rules emerge. 1) it's not grappling 😄. 2) don't block the body leaving the opponent's hands free, in mma the hands hit, not like in wrestling or bjj. ground and pound is a game-changer. it has its own rules, nothing you know from grappling or bjj works. forget this approach.
