It’s been a while since I did a flange. I honestly can’t remember off hand. But with my usual method, you can also sew binding to the back, fold to the front, and edge stitch down from the front. Definitely use an edgestitch foot or open toe foot , since the stitches will show on the front. But it looks great and is good choice if you want binding to be wider on top. I need to do another video on that.

I really do like it very much. It's hard to find the perfect iron but it works well for me.
