1) They caught up to him using the reverse of the Rescue Bakugou plan. 😭 2) Everyone has something they love about Midoriyaaaaa.... 3) If you sacrifice yourself, who will make Eri smile?!?!!? Midoriya, your life is not your own, it belongs to the Candy Apple Queen! 4) Bakugou peeped OFA as a "cursed power" basically the moment it was explained to him, and after two decades of thinking All Might is the greatest for working alone, he's not only refusing that philosophy, he recognizes it as All Might 's greatest weakness. 😭 And he doesn't want Midoriya to follow in those footsteps.
For 2, it would’ve been better if we’ve seen way more interactions and moments between deku and everyone but it feels forced and for 4, (spoilers)… AM goes to fight prime AFO alone again in a damn mecha suit that he had since VH and it’s portrayed as a good thing so that kind of makes it really off with future context.
@@jeffreyali3644 Myeh. I understand some people's desire for "more", but ultimately, I don't think you need to save someone's life more than once to feel bad when they are having a rough month. Every classmate that Deku has had a major arc with spoke, and the ones he didn't have an arc with...didn't speak. LOL.
@@Cityweaver they didn’t have to be saved by deku, but most of them having next to no interaction with him, hell, barley doing anything throughout the entire series really hampers the moment when only about 4 people really interacted with him so to throw all that in like this especially with how rushed this got, it was pretty forced and jarring. Even worse with future context. Plus Hori has mentioned he wanted to do a lot more with this arc but couldn’t due to the higher ups and bad editor.
Even after all that whole rescue mission and apology, Deku still not really feeling okay to stay at UA as he said. He was brought back physically, but he hasn't been fully *"saved"* yet mentally. Deku was straight up ready to leave after all that work to get him back, but Uraraka had to grab his hand to keep him there. So in the end, she will try to complete this mission so that Deku is fully "saved".
Bruh the amount of quirk combination needed to match that faux 100% was insane. Iida literally pushed to his limits. Deku will be a danger in the future when he controls 100% plus all his insane fa Jin boosts.
Only 5 quirks and to be fair Deku is using 3 so the gap aint that big, plus I argue Mina was just for extra safety but they probably coulda done it without her and not been critically injured

Bakugo and Shoto are close enough in speed and offensive power, Mirio is a perfect distraction, Shinzo from the shadows could brainwash him and Momo could set up knockout gas traps in multiple areas. If Batman can take out the Justice League with plans, Deku isn't invincible just cause he's strong. Get off his nuts

When My Hero is good, it is untouchable. I think very few shows can compare. Also, so many emotional lines in this episode: Froppy, Bakugo (of course), Lida, and dare I even say Mineta?
With how much more this arc could’ve been done, idk if it’s untouchable nowadays especially in the final arc where things get rushed and many parts get executed badly
If you think about it, this was the recreation of the moment they had to save Bakugo from All for one and shigaraki the first time. Only it seemed like it was Bakugo that came up with the plan this time around. I love a good full circle.
Love, LOVE, LOVE this episode. Let's discuss the parallels. First, we have Iida thinking back to when he thought he absolutely had to face the villain before him to the point of even throwing away his own safety. Izuku is playing right into AFO's hands by tiring himself out but he feels like he can't just sit and rest when Shigaraki always knows where he is. Izuku helped Iida with his problem. Now Iida steps up to help him with his. Next up, the Bakugo rescue that happened. Back then, Shoto made the ice ramp as Iida flew through the sky. Izuku had so many bottled up feelings for Bakugo. So many things he wanted to say to him. But he knew Bakugo would see it as a sign of weakness if he reached out to grab his hand. So he took a step back and allowed Kirishima to do it. Now, Shoto makes another ice ramp and Bakugo is the one who has the bottled up feelings inside him. He has so many things he wants to say. So many things he NEEDS to say. But he puts his feelings aside and lets Iida grab Izuku's hand because he's designed for speed. We see Tenya get to reaffirm that helping a child in need is what he does. Meddling in affairs where people might reject your help is what being a hero is all about. But more importantly, Deku needs to take a bath. Kaminari was right. All jokes aside, let's talk about Bakugo's speech. These two have such a complex relationship. From childhood best friends to a strained relationship due to Bakugo feeling inferior, to Bakugo and Izuku reluctantly working together, to Bakugo telling Izuku to stay back when he was captured to his meltdown in their second fight to them being proper rivals and Bakugo helping Deku with his quirks and then jumping in the way to save him without thinking like Izuku did for him in the past. They have such a complex relationship filled with a whirlwind of feelings. But Bakugo was willing to be vulnerable not just in front of Deku, but everything in their class. He swallowed his pride and admitted his weakness. He told Deku that it was okay to rest. That it's okay to have shortcomings because they'll have his back. And he ran up to catch Izuku when he fell. Iida caught Izuku, Bakugo made him feel comfortable enough to finally rest on his shoulder, and now the public has to be convinced that he can stay at the school. Deku thinks he's useless if he can't save people. But now it's time to address an important question. Who saves the heroes when they're in trouble? Side note, I almost forgot the Mineta line. Fun fact, in the manga, people were freaking out because of Mineta saying he fell for Deku. The fandom nearly having a meltdown at bi Mineta was peak chaos.
Technically this isn’t a capture mission, but a rescue mission. They would undoubtedly lose against Deku in a physical battle. However, this is an emotional battle and that Deku is also trying to avoid any conflict, which gives Class 1A an advantage. Basically, they’re no match against Deku. But emotionally, Deku is pretty much broken. In short, they’re using emotional damage.

If Deku could keep going w/o backup, that Dictator guy wouldn't have given him any trouble. AFO was clearly throwing people at him to slowly wear him down, preying on his fear of getting support. If his friends had been there to clear the henchman out of the way, Deku would be able to focus all his energy on the big bad.
We’re once again continuing the Dark Hero/Deku Arc of the Final Act Saga, Starting off with Class 1-A vs Deku, then we’ll get a long overdue apology from Bakugo to Izuku and then we’re ending things off with arriving at the U.A. Barrier which seems to be blocked-off by a Mob Raging Paranoid Citizens, Next Time, i guess we’ll continue from where we left-off, i wonder what the Heroes are going to do about this, it seems like Uraraka has something in mind, let’s see what she plans to do. Hehehe, oh, I really hope that they do this Next Part Justice, it will be interesting to see what people will think.
This would’ve worked if the entire class got a hell of a lot more time and development as well as this arc go for a LOT longer cause there was so many possibilities and potential but it fell flat and became very rushed. And sadly with future context, he wasn’t really wrong.
