  • Arrma Outcast 4s v2.5 survives through more and more abuse, chassis has held strong with the M2C mods. Shock kit just added prior to recording, still making adjustments to springs/preload. So far I really like them!

      @Logan_gamble really appreciate it brother 🙏 means the practice is paying off 👌 and the pins I make are Hardened when I buy them, I just cut whatever length I need. I use them on my Kraton and Outcast currently

      @@CanadianRC96 mind sharing the grade steel your using? Sounds like you hit a winner. I tried titanium and failed miserably. Wrong grade.

      @Logan_gamble all it tells me on Amazon is High Speed Steel. About $1 a pin it costs to make them. First order wasn't as good as the ones I've got now, but for the price it sure beats buying arrma pins

      @@CanadianRC96 Il do some research and see what I come up with. Hardening steel is easy and fun. But a long rod may be hard. But it’s probably easier to buy it that way. I always wanted ones that break instead of bend. When they bend they eat control arms and such.

      @Logan_gamble my thoughts exactly, rather snap a cheap pin. I went through multiple pins on the Kraton before the arm finally let go. It got more and more damaged each time, but I kept running it. The Outcast has been the same pins since installing the m2c chassis brace, with the brace the pins hold straight which prevent the chassis from blowing out on those plastic models

    What battery straps are you using ?

    • @CanadianRC96
      @CanadianRC96  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @robspec 1 Is stock, the other is from a 6s arrma battery tray, took the thin strap from an old tray I had laying around
