We're going to Bethlehem, WV this week bc of this song in part. It's an hour and a half away from where we moved to WV in 2020...end times Saint music❤ much Love ❤
They're killing it. Really glad they seem to be taking Pale Horses and blossoming off that album with this and Julia. Needed a strong release this year and I finally have one.
To which shepherd's field did which angels descend? And what's this about eternal non-existence at the end? A stranger's face appeared - they say he lost his mind (Or too much found his mind?) I hear it all the time Vibrations rose in waves from a sea of discontent Dad used to talk about for days, I finally tasted what he meant Your carcass on the ground brought vultures to their eyes My frontal lobe is shutting down I bet you hear it all the time To which shepherd's field did which angels descend? Or is blessedness revealed to those of us who best pretend? Some counterfeit ideas form ideas all their own I watched them spread for years to my unsuspecting bones And the nights my heart was tired you sang your saccharine song But when your mouth was quiet was the sweetest sound of all "Soon our ransomed souls will leave this age behind For streets of solid gold," I hear it all the time On a West Virginia road I did just as I was told
@Justin Yoho The first time I drove through Wheeling I couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful I think the town was. This is coming from a touring musician from East Texas, I'm used to never ending flat pastures.
For how much I lovingly cherish this song... and how many times I’ve listened to it (tally which will pale slighter in significance in not but a trifle of time) I HAD to like and leave a comment. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH it make me be like AAAAAAHHHHHHH I LUV IT
What a glorious blessing to have been alive to experience most of their career and many in-person performances.
"They say he lost his mind, or too much found his mind" that is so brilliantly poetic I still can't quite get over it

They played this last night at the Warfield and I don't think I've ever been so happy in my entire life.
Im obsessed with this track.
To say the least
“Vibrations rose like waves from a sea of discontent
My dad would talk about for days, I finally tasted what he meant.”
Man, what a line.
Every line! :)
This song has kept me going.
I’m going to miss you guys so much.
‘I wake up disappointed all the time’

Stunning.
This is a great year for music!
You check Cursive's new release?
Awesome album suggestion! Have you heard Atmosphere's new album Mi Vida Local?
Loving this song
Grew up in Bethlehem, WV. Weird to see it in a song.
I lived in North Platte, NE. Talk about a trip listening to Red Cow.
I'll have to find it on the map, we just moved to Beckley, WV from Montana. Pastor of the church we went to in Kansas sent me this song just now.

This band has genius
I could imagine this track being complemented by some Cardiff Giant-esque backgroundy screams towards the end
Neato
I really want the section from 2:50 to go on forever. This and August 6th are the highlights for me. Not sure about the others yet...
Joel Julian same everything exactly what you said
My 21 days old, self made Ai...Indie, recommended me thisnsong.
Pretty much sums up existence and non existence life and death.
