Hi! Shem, As a bassy myself i would like to compliment you on both your playing and singing. It is not easy singing and keeping the driving rythm but you pulled it off outstandingly well. If the rest of the concert was a good as this opening song then i would love to hear the whole concert. Perhaps someone can upload it???/ I must confess that the Faroe islands an out of the way place to have a major concert i just wonder how this beautiful place was chosen?
@Shem, as a Faroese thank you for liking my home. TOTO also played Faroes back in 1996 on the Tambu tour, when I was lucky enough to make their acquaintance, and kept in contact via Martin Cole, rest his soul. TOTO is my very favourite band.

Steve Lukather is without doubt the greatest guitar playing singer and makes it look so easy which it is not. This the result of a lot practice and dedication to hone his amazing talent
there are guitarists who play 1000 notes per second... (for example: John Petrucci) and there are guitarists, who play one note and touch your heart!!! These are (for me) Steve Lukather and David Gilmour!!!

But, I have discovered these guys are so much more then those 2 songs. I started watching their videos a couple of months ago on TH-cam and I have been hooked ever since.

Wow!!! It sounds like 35 years earlier!! Pure, energetic... would be studio quality. There are so many band from the 70s and 80s who don't play like this nowadays! I'm very proud of it! They are brilliant musicians who are getting younger.
Also great to see Steve Porcaro on stage. Love Lenny Castro, because his style influenced the sound of Toto back in the days a lot and having him back was a great experience. In fact every member gives a strong input and they sound excellent together. Not to forget the background-vocals, Joseph and of course Luke! ❤👏

firstly kudu's to the sound engineers for the sound mix. This is a live concert and performed by very talented musicians and vocalists. The cherry on the top is the driving percussion section who are really tight and their phasing is out of the top drawer. Any song that has a good percussion section is usually great as it sets up the other musicians and singers to perform well and nail the song.
Is such a shame that TOTO is not even considered as a candidate for the RRHF. Besides their music sound/influence, TOTO has 3-main vocalists! (sometimes 4 w/Porcaro).
If you had to upload just "one" song this was it. These nine and a half minutes covered my price of admission last year, everything else was just sweet delicious musical gravy, I had waited since 1982 to witness this live, thank you Toto for taking care of my Toto bucket list, it was a great 40 trips around the sun...
Loved that album immediately as a child when I heard a family member play it. Still my favorite band all these years later & I can’t imagine a day without listening to something from IV…anything Toto really…albums like that are once in a lifetime. Adore them.
They sometimes rent gear locally and their gears sometimes is unavailable. That's why he used Nord for this part of the tour, same goeas with Luke who, as you can see, used Mesa head and Marshall cabs instead of Bogners
David plays Nord keyboards. They are taped because he has a Yamaha contract? Swedes are better... sorry :-))) Yamaha Keyboards are good, but there are a few better...
