He will recover. This world is strange, odd, and extremely cruel to many people that deserve nothing but the best. Why? I have no certain or good answer besides the theory that everything happens for a reason, and anytime anything horrible happens to you, it's only to build you even stronger. This was an extremely saddening case and I know the family will find closure eventually. Just sad any if this happened to begin with... My prayers are with the family. May she also Rest in Peace 😔

I am so, so sorry for your terrible loss. My only son unexpectedly died 8/21/20, so I can actually understand your pain. It brings us to our knees...there are days I wake up from a vivid dream about my Wade, actually thinking he's still alive. Then, that moment - THE moment - strikes (I'm certain you know that moment, as well) where the reality/finality hits and I forget how to breathe...literally. You and I are made to bear a loss that is the very worst of the very worst. It has altered the course of my existence and crushed every dream I ever had. There will be no grandbabies. I will grow older all alone and die alone. That terrifies me. So, now I live in constant grief AND dread. I simply cannot put into words that definitively convey how much I ACHE to see him...hug him. He was my best friend. I shall think of you today and lift you up, as much as I am able. I'm attending my first grief support group tomorrow...

Thank you, Adrian, for this channel. Truly appreciate your sincere focus and compassion for the victims of all these stories, that helps you feel less lonely wondering about evil deeds in this world ~ as well as feeling solidarity with all the people getting their lives hurt with overwhelming grief . I have often wondered why stories like these are "my thing " - thinking I ought to just watch happy stuff , but I think it's because it helps you process destructive behavior that most people come across one way or the other this life - learning that it can happen to the best of people and that it isn't something that necessarily defines you. Most of all I have been interested in how families and loved ones have dealt with such a disaster like this one with Toyah .
How they have used it to create funds , change laws, created sanctuaries in the name of their loved ones . Like you often express yourself , I can't even imagine how anyone can cope after such a blow to their hearts and I have the deepest respect for those families and loved ones that manage to use their tragedy for change and growth onwards, while my heart goes out to those that break down from it.
It will be a mystery to me always why anyone would come to this gorgeous planet, known to be the most magical and beautiful one in our entire galaxy, to be destructive. Be it criminal violence,
"legal "war , poisoning of our environment - you name it.
Overall I don't understand how we came to be like this. It's almost as if there's an alien consciousness present that has developed through time, steering humanity's behavior into an unhealthy course. Whatever genius source that created the alchemy of nature created us humans too and we are originally equipped with flock mentality like dolphins ~ where we thrive the best by coorporating and caring for each other's wellbeing .
No matter how lost we are, your contribution as an example of someone who takes us through all these tough stories from other people's lives , doing so with genuine empathy , makes me for one, feel less lonely about it - which is a great comfort in itself.
    For the same reason
I'm very happy that your subscriptions have passed a million . It's a good sign well deserved.
    Kindly Jozee. 🐾☮🌏💫

I love this channel. I've seen every single video and it makes my day when i get a notification about a new upload. Funnily enough, i work for Starbucks and watch these on my breaks. You're a fantastic story teller, you're funny too, and you can see how much effort has gone into every single video you've uploaded. Amazing work man, can't wait to see this channel get the recognition it deserves, i'm definitely a fan for life 👏

Thank you so much for the kind words Liv! I’m glad that you enjoy these videos and hope to see you around for the future ones too. I feel like after a few of the pronunciation disasters I’ve made on this channel I’d be a perfect candidate for Starbucks, spelling the names wrong on coffee cups and all... 😅😂 but in all seriousness I appreciate the support, so thank you!

Thanks Adrian. Truly sad moment i time. Such an innocent, kind hearted spirit who only wanted to care for animals, worked hard at a great job and left loving family and partner. Total devastation and sad memories were made that day -- RIP Toyah. When i grow my sunflowers each year, you will be in my thoughts. Love from Deb, Newcastle, England.

I only started watching his videos recently, and maybe because I'm going through them all in quick succession it's easier to notice, but he's had a few verbal slips like this. Maybe very, very mild dyslexia? Or just simple misspeaking with lax editing. Either way, he still does a great job. I'm enjoying his channel a lot.

I understand why he feels that way, as there will inevitably be goons lurking like vultures, drooling in anticipation of pouncing upon any mispronounced word or minor geographical error. It seems their mere existence is built solely around blasting their negativity and harsh "observations" in EVERY comment section, following EVERY video uploaded. What these contrary haters do is FAR different than offering constructive criticism in tandem with positive encouragement and a compliment. Ugh.

I am from the area. I had met Toyah a couple of times and my mother was quite friendly with her through the animal shelter you mentioned. It was such an absolutely soul shattering time for the whole community as nothing like that happens there. Hopefully one day the killer will be brought in and put away so he can never do anything like this and affect people in such a disgusting way again
