I've always wanted to study abroad. It's definitely a to-do list of mine that I would like to sign up for in my future career field and higher education 😀 What's your current major that you're currently pursuing school for? To answer your channel question, my favorite time of starting my semester (community college) is the beginning week of the semester. I get an overview of what the course is really about, more details on the professor themselves if they best fit my teaching criteria, how to overview of the semester is going to look like in the weeks ahead, and preparing myself during that first week of the semester to always be ahead, staying organized, following the course schedule, and always attaining information in my head to prepare myself for upcoming exams.
I 100% recommend studying abroad if you are able to! It is truly life changing! I'm a biochemistry major btw. I also love the start of semesters in college. It's not stressful yet so you can take the time to enjoy the topic of the course before all the exams come up
hey Bailey, New viewer here and fellow Londoner. Love your energy! The less said about your cooking though.....sorry! Have fun in London especially during the current unseasonably warm spell!
I really like the arts culture here. Like on the subway station, everyone is reading books and everybody goes to watch plays and musicals. Everybody goes to museums and orchestras. I love how everybody is so interested in the arts
@@baileynoelle that's really interesting! That's something you probably wouldn't learn by just learning about London from the classroom. Are there any other observations you've made about the culture?
The culture isn’t that different but I’m in London so it’s very similar to New York City. I’m sure if I stayed in any other area for more than one day, I’ll probably notice something
If you want to see a small bit about British politics you could look on the bbc parliament channel , it's just the general stuff in the House of Commons except Wednesday afternoon at 12pm , when the prime minister answers questions from the opposition parties about various topics and can get quite rowdy at times , lots of times enquiries by select committees are shown etc. Yes prime minister / minister is a comedy showing how when a minister is wanting certain things doing the civil service trys to divert him on other things that they think is better , the writing is brilliant and is done by 3 most excellent main actors, who sadly are no longer with us , it's also on TH-cam. Also on TH-cam if anyone is interested in English history is good various
I actually ended up watching a lot of the House of Commons meetings when I was in England! They were very helpful for my politics class so you’re so right!
@@baileynoelle what did you think of the bit of history of the main chamber were there is a white line on the carpet on each side by the front rows ( government side and opposition side ) and the politicians are not allowed to cross during debates unless they are leaving the chamber plus the gap between the two white lines is two sword lengths , just in case someone loses their temper lol
