    Thanks for all the help Trent! Bummed I missed the rest of the weekend. Interesting to see the accident happen from the camera’s perspective. Would have liked to have just dropped and rolled, but I guess I’m too old to roll! I’ll start looking for some sort of big tire scooter for our next trip! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

      Brad, obviously I hate that this happened to you, but don't you watch Baron Pilot? Didn't you see what happened to Kim? One wheels, not a great idea. At least not in my opinion. I hope and pray that you heal up quickly and can get your airplane back and get back into the air soonest! Be careful!

      I saw you guys at the airport in McCall that afternoon, but was just barely too late to get your attention. So I just watched you taxi and made my own little video of you all taking off. I had just gotten off work at the hospital. I work in the x-ray department and would have probably taken your X-rays if it had happened earlier in the day. Get well and fly safe.

    I absolutely wish I could do this. Flying bushplanes and flying in general is my dream! It's just amazing how you can just takeoff head somewhere and land in most places with those beefy bushwheels, so cool! I wish I will get a chance to do this some day. This is as close as I can get to my dream right now, so keep at it, beautiful work as always!

  • @garycummings1706
    @garycummings1706 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    After watching one of your previous videos. I bought two OneWheel XR’s. The OneWheel dealer & his son-in-law were moving a C182 across the ramp for maintenance. One on the strut & the other on the prop. They made it look effortless. After a couple of days of cruising & crashing on surface transitions I decided they were not for us. A matter of risk vs. reward. We live on a boat 9 months of the year & in a class B van for three. At 66 an injury would impact our lifestyle to much. Still enjoy seeing you use them effortlessly. Keep up the great videos. I’d have to check the logbook, but I think I’ve been into Johnson Creek. We were the only plane there all day. We were waiting for cooler evening temps. Cannot believe how even the back-country is crowded.

    Hey, Trent just remember when your fly fishing, a simple way to learn is 10:00 to 2:00, and on the backswing don't go to 3:00 because when you pull forward you have a good chance of hooking your hat or your ear. The best way to learn is to practice without a hook on a lawn.

    • @robertborchert932

      Indeed, Juan! I've done the kablammo three times on my right collar bone, and my shoulder (scapula).
      First time I was five, fell down the stairs. Middle of the collar bone. It healed up with a huge reinforcement, a bump in the middle. This reinforcement, I learned, is why the later breaks were at the ends.
      Later, I broke it again, well, it cracked the breast plate.
      Third time, I went down in full racing leathers over some oil. Not a scratch on me, but a broken shoulder.
      I get it. I also have some advice about falling down. You absolutely must plan for it.
      Riding a one wheel in grass? Not going to be critical, it was his first time too.
      If you are going to fall, dissipate the energy. Roll! It goes against common sense. Brace yourself, and you'll break a wrist or arm or shoulder.
      I learned the hard way. I've lost footing and fallen on countless fires. I've learned to roll with it. The hard way. Trust this old brush monkey!
      I just hope this may help some of you!

      @SmittySmithsonite 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Bro what a pleasure to see Johnson creek again. I went there with my grandpa back in 2015. Flew from Oregon. He now has dementia and cannot fly anymore. What aweso.e memories to remember. I am currently a si-truck driver, I can't wait to save up and get my pilots license. My dream is to be able to fly there with a friend of mine (he is scared shitless of smaller airlines.) I can't wait to take my friends flying that have never been in a smaller aircraft.

    Dude! Stoked you tried fly fishing! It’s addicting. Perfect compliment to the bush plane.

    Good job on the one wheel Bronson..!!! But the reason you take to it is the flying part !!! Balance... !!! Brad sorry about the fall man...But even knowing how it sounded that was a nasty three point man...Being whaled is no fun...Get well soon... and you'll be back up in no time...
