Thanks for all the help Trent! Bummed I missed the rest of the weekend. Interesting to see the accident happen from the camera’s perspective. Would have liked to have just dropped and rolled, but I guess I’m too old to roll! I’ll start looking for some sort of big tire scooter for our next trip! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Brad, obviously I hate that this happened to you, but don't you watch Baron Pilot? Didn't you see what happened to Kim? One wheels, not a great idea. At least not in my opinion. I hope and pray that you heal up quickly and can get your airplane back and get back into the air soonest! Be careful!
I saw you guys at the airport in McCall that afternoon, but was just barely too late to get your attention. So I just watched you taxi and made my own little video of you all taking off. I had just gotten off work at the hospital. I work in the x-ray department and would have probably taken your X-rays if it had happened earlier in the day. Get well and fly safe.

Hey, Trent just remember when your fly fishing, a simple way to learn is 10:00 to 2:00, and on the backswing don't go to 3:00 because when you pull forward you have a good chance of hooking your hat or your ear. The best way to learn is to practice without a hook on a lawn.

If you ever wanna go fishing in McCall there is a pond at the end of the runway that’s got rainbow trout in it. You just have to cut through the cow pasture which is allowed and the pond is right there.
Dude as someone who has broken their collar bone, that is a MAJOR bummer!!

There is a German beer festival in Odessa Washington this year in September there is a airfield there if you guys want to go get some German beer and food and see the badlands.
That’s the second aviation channel that I watch where someone on a Onewheel fell and broke something. The other one was a severely broken wrist with complications. Looks like fun, but all you safety minded pilot types, seem to forget to be safe when on the ground (taxiing, etc excluded)

Trent - not surprised someone broke their collarbone on a One Wheel. My friend separated his should at the AC joint and it will never be the same. My son broke his collar bone on one. Fortunately that healed ok. Be very careful.

One thing to know about those electric boards is if the battery is low, or dies it will come to an abrupt stop like what happened to your friend there. Make sure the batteries are charged so you don't stop so abruptly. Just wanted to share the warning with you. Probably a low or dead battery to that electric board.
Absolutely epic locations you have there. As it turns out; looks like the most dangerous part of backcountry flying it the one wheel ride. :P

That looked like a great mini vacation, except for the injury right at the start. You did a great job driving the jet boat. It looked like it could really move. How did you like the fly fishing?
I really miss doing the flying camping trips. You really feel reguvinated but always hate to pack it up and leave.

At least his is repairable. I have a cancerous lesion on my collar bone where it attaches to the sternum. It has now fractured and separated. The ortho doc says they can’t do anything about it. Just use a sling to immobilize it. The sling causes more pain. I have occasional severe pain but usually the pain is minimal. Listen to the docs and heal soon.
Damn man! That sounds awful! Cancer is just horrible. I hope you get some relief somehow.

The jet boat looks like an amazing experience!
A perfect airfoil is circular but doesn't multiply forces into a hub. The disc shaped aircraft and foil should be driven electromagnetically under the foil which is attached to the ship fuselage also magnetically. Gyroscopically referenced control should provide complete spherical flight control. The lack of complexity and the minimum frictionless systems should produce a craft which is now beyond industrial belief.
Yesterday, I built an electric motor which produces usable rpm and torque values. It is simple and self powering. There is no need for external power supply after start up. Industry has no place for this motor because it can not be industrialized for profit and control.

I had the unique opportunity to ride up to 5 mile bar via jet boat, stay for a few days and fly home via helicopter. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

My jet boat did 1ltr/km and was 310hp so his fuel consumption is brilliant for 1100hp for that size boat.

That's why I carry a full sized bike in my plane, just saying......and I have still been hurt worse on it then teaching myself to hang glide, teaching myself to fly ultralights, and then being a pilot for 30+ years doing off airport. But a ebike crashed kicked my ass worse! Point is, we pilots maybe get a little blasé about the danger of other activities, and let our guard down. Fly, we pay full attention

Is there a website that shows locations on where is legal to land planes by state? I am fortunate enough to live 45 minutes away from Oshkosh, WI, however I don't know of any back country landing spots here in WI. Northern Wisconsin and possibly the Yoop may have some, but not sure where to even look.

Hey Trent, when you started filming a little after minute 7 it looks like a white Cessna 185 with a belly pod and extended tanks was taking off, did that happen to be an old MAF plane?
