You can actually hear the emotions in your voice at the sadder parts of the game, I can tell you've enjoyed the game as much if not more than I did. Such an amazing playthrough.
One of my favorite indie games of all time by far. Hearing you tear up at the end made me remember the same happen to me back then lmao Also fun fact, you can now boot up the game whenever you want! When you do that the first time the world machine gets mad at you for a while but then decides to run a simulation of the adventure without bringing Niko in or resetting the world. Niko's colors even become the same muted purple of the reflection to show that this isn't the real Niko this time.
Decided to buy this game before watching this video, and despite it being such a short game compared to others like it, it was an absolute journey. Had watched another playthrough prior but knew nothing about the Solstice route, and I can say that I really was not expecting to be emotionally annihilated like that. Really glad you played because I don't know how long it would've taken me to play it myself otherwise, thanks Lone!
I'm really glad you got to play the game before watching the video. It really is an amazing experience. Always happy to play something new and share my experience with y'all.
I'm really happy that you played through this game, it very is one of my favorite. Also, fun fact if you don't already know it, but this game is HEAVILY inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's *The Little Prince*, even to the point where it could almost be considered a rewriting of it. The fox, the plane, the scarf on Niko, the pill for the water, the "realness" of fiction, the taming meaning and themes, the golden color of wheat and the memories that go along with it... all of that come from that book. Plus some things here and there from Isaac Asimov (the laws of the robotic), Harlan Ellison (*I don't have a mouth and I must scream*) and probably Philip K. Dick (with his novel *Does Androids Dream of Electric Sheeps*). Tldr, this game's gud.
I'm 7 months late, but your playthrough is probably the best I've seen so far, the way you actually get emotional at the sad parts and the way you laugh so often when there's a silly joke is something precious to watch, and it feels so good to see someone enjoy this game as much as I did when I played it. OneShot is a masterpiece, and it's really nice to see someone who can agree with that and have such genuine emotions at the ending like I did
I don't remember if I put the dots together before, but now I'm realizing the reason why the last character is a normal fox and it talks about taming is a reference to the little prince.
Your videos (aswell as Niko) are always a treat. Also funny to see how many people were quite litterally screaming for you to play this some more, they are dedicated. Also cant wait for when you make a discord :)
My favorite moment in this game is a three way tie Between The ending of solstice Finally getting all achievements And Getting the pancake achievement specifically
Its uhhh, like FR man, to be forgotten is not as bad as knowing that you was the one that did it and knowing that they exsists and they doesnt deserves it. Awwww man Niko
Omg the ending, the emotion in your voice 💔 i didn't remember it being this emotional but still, it was great. Once again, love the editing and your comments.
Lone, What I said about this game on your last video, sticks here. This game is just... perfect in every sense, and you getting emotional at certain parts, that's normal, that's fine, you're not alone. I thank you for playing my favorite game of all time, have a wonderful rest of your day.
I’ve never played OneShot, and after the first video I was thinking of getting it, but even in the first 10 minutes of this playthrough it was making me wonder if I really wanted this game. The fact that it makes you question _why_ you’re doing this, why you keep playing the game when it hurts the characters, is really messing with me in ways I didn’t think a game could. Also, very nice videos, it’s great to have something to look forward to at the end of the week :)
Absolutely killing it with those play throughs Lone. I’d love to watch you play more indie games like this and cult of the lamb. PS. I wonder if Night In The Woods is on your game list🤔
Oh WHOA i remember the original OneShot years ago. I never knew it had a... this extra content to it till JUST now 😂 Awww i felt right there with thos moments dude. 😢
Bro the first game and this game has made me cry. I feel so bad for you because the little things in this game are just so emotional I hope you're okay.
Also I shouldn’t say anything that is threatening but omori is just a actual horror game that looks normal at first but then there’s [SPOILERS HAHA GET COCK BLOCKED BY A TEXT]
@@henrygrey7857 I definitely want to at some point. But it's scary since my full playthrough of OneShot was about 8-9hours and both videos together are 50 minutes. OMORI is about 20-28 hours...I don't like the idea of a 2-3 hour long VIDEO 😰
Idk Why I found OneShot Late....Because of Underrated Game.....sadly OneShot is made before Undertale....I just Found OneShot By Music...And I like OneShot Music..so I'm Curious to find more Music....and... Now...welp it' s Gane...? [After..] oh my.........Much Emotional..Game Ever I saw... And This is made Infinite Cycle to Maintain [OneShot] Game Forever...
I've experienced this game's story like 5 times now, and it still gets me. Every. Single. Time.
