Considering it's the same situation as Fire Punch and Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, where it's a Jump+ series, published as a Viz website exclusive, and those were both Viz Sigs, the chances are very high
I'm hyped for Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe. And I'm calling it now, if it's a single volume. The spine number volume is gonna be surrounded by a pen nib in a similar vein to Diamond Is Unbreakable's spine numbers is surrounded by a diamond and Golden Wind's spine numbers are in a brooch.
rainbow days is great! i was honestly shocked to see it on the announcements since it has been over for a while and the anime came out back in 2016 so i figured the window to take advantage of its popularity had passed but i’m so glad they are giving it some love, also so excited for blue box, we knew it was coming but awesome that it’s sooner rather than later
SO EXCITED FOR SO MANY OF THESE. Yozakura, Blue Box, and Dandadan were three of my top four series I read last year (alongside UU, which already has physical), so I'll definitely be picking all those up for sure. Look Back's a maybe as well, I haven't actually read that one yet!
I'm soooooo SOOOOO excited for Dandadan and Blue Box! I knew we'd get them, it was just a matter of time. I was surprised that Red Hood is getting a physical release just cause of how short it is and that it got canceled. I'm also very curious how it made the cut to get a physical release. I wasn't a huge fan of Red Hood. I love its art and start, but the way it ended was pretty bad. Makes me wonder if Viz will release physical copies of other canceled series in the future. Lots of exciting announcements and I'm really enjoying keeping up to date with all the new manga on the Viz website. Looking forward to their next drop of announcements.

Thanks for these breakdowns. I don't follow manga that isn't already released in English so this is great help to explain these series to me and let me know which one's I should check out.
I think the choice to make a series physical is probably due to how much it was read on the app during magazine publication and how strong the digital sales end up being. Mission Yozakura Family probably had good enough digital sales to warrant the release. Red Hood, no idea. It might have been read alot more by Western fans on the app than Japanese ones in the magazine.

Maybe the Rohan Kishibe release will include the latest chapter coming out next month? It’s apparently going to be 140 pages long so it could easily hold its own volume..
So you might've already seen it but the Kishibe Rohan manga is available for pre-order is on rightstuf and it says it's hardcover so it does look as tho it will be of the same print as the mainline Jojo manga
I'm sooo hype to finally be able to collect Dandadan. I've been reading it on viz's manga vault, so I usually don't collect those series as they are easily accessible digitally, but this one is so good that I still want the physicals on my shelf. I'd go so far as to call it my favorite comedy manga
It blows my mind how the digital only releases are getting physical releases these day. It would be stellar to see digital only series such as el Dive in an official physical release. I hope we get some previously unfinished series such as Bobobo and Gintama, somewhat similar to what happened to Jojo. I am hoping Red Hood gets a sequel series, a sort of revival from the western market popularity.
My no-brainer, surefire Day 1 pick-up is Look Back. I am extremely excited to hold in my hands and have on my shelf that instant classic. I might also pick up Dandadan and Blue Box, both of which I've been enjoying. And while I haven't gotten into Mission: Yozakura Family, I do hope the physical release is signaling a willingness on Viz Media's part to free more series from digital jail.
I felt the same as you when they axed Phantom Seer. It was just getting started and to see it ending so early was unexpected. Other than that I was really sad about Candy Flurry too.
I saw all the light novel releases and just realized Undead Unluck is actually getting a light novel release in Japan relatively soon. Maybe if we're lucky and UU gets an anime and it takes off, Viz will more than likely bring it over. Which I'm all for because it's all about Gina.
Very excited and surprised with this announcement! One for the demon slayer light novels… on paper I would’ve predicted it given how popular demon slayer is but I definitely wasn’t expecting it! Can’t wait and two for tatsuki Fujimotos one shot, though I’ve read them online very excited to have it physically in English, hopefully we get the rest of his works and frankly most of these announcements I’m satisfied with.
They're filing the Romantic Killer manga under the Shojo Beat imprint. I guess they're filing the Mermaid story under the VIZ Signature imprint. Hoping the Mermaid story will have a nice release. Would be cool if they did an omnibus version of that since it's only 2 volumes. Those are the manga that I'm interested in reading and buying this time around. I'll read Rainbow Days via my library. Also, ya'll on Twitter need to calm TF down.
A bit disappointed that The Comiq isn't getting a physical release. Also Nice to hear that Yozakura Family is getting a physical release as it gives hope that other Digital Only releases can get one.
I am truly devastated by the fact that Phantom Seer is digital only and not in print, whilst Red Hood (despite me liking it enough to buy it) gets to be printed
After Yozakura Family and Red Hood both getting physical versions announced, it got me having unrealistic hopes for series like Agravity Boys and Magu-chan getting a physical release. Highly unlikely though sadly.

I feel like viz is printing MYF now cause they saw it becomes a battle shounen later on and they know the west eats that up. Red Hood being printed is also a sign that they know what west wants and tbh they most likely won’t print Magu and Roboco cause they probably know that most western readers aren’t the biggest fans of those series

I cant wait for the Demon Slayer light novels ill pick up the JJK ones after I start collecting the manga but the 2 im really hyped for is the Rohan Spin Off and Mission Yozakura Family I read the first 3 chapters on the Shoenen Jump App and loved it it reminds of Spy X Family alot I still need to get the rest of JoJo part 3 all of part 4 and the first 3 volumes of part 5 but JoJo in Canada is almost $30 but I really love it just wished it was a little cheaper

I’ve only read Berserk, Blade of the Immortal, Fist of the North Star, and a volume each for Full Metal and Promised Neverland. A Berserk recommendation got me into manga. What should I read next? I enjoyed all of the ones mentioned above. Prefer to read something with less amount of volumes below 25 and the story is more important than anything else. Any recommendations? I really like the feeling of having twist and turns in a story.
I wasn’t a huge fan of Lone Wolf and Cub but many people are and it often falls in with those mentioned. I think it may be worth looking into stuff by Riichiro Inagaki (I think that’s the spelling) who did stuff like Crying Freeman and Sanctuary. Most of his stuff isn’t easy to find right now but I think might be of interest if you can at least read it online. Look at lists of popular “seinen” manga. That’s the demographic for adult men and you’ll probably find more you like there. I’ll try to have more recs to share on one of the live shows though.
I’ve watched several of your videos over the last few days and one thing I keep thinking is I wish your intro scene was shorter (like the fake sitcom). It’s unnecessarily long and sucks that I feel like I have to skip it manually every time
