Great video! Youcan also use denture tablets to clean out a nasty vase after you’ve tossed old flowers. I use 2-3 tablets and warm water and let it soak overnight. Requires little or no scrubbing and vase is crystal clean! Hugs from Ohio, USA 🌸🌼🌸🌼

Loved this Emily, thank you! Xx I’m a big list writer too, I have a list of all household jobs on notes on my phone and every Sunday I take a look at what needs doing during the week and split the jobs over each day, some I will do before work and some after so it doesn’t seem too daunting. When I do a big spring clean (or pre Xmas clean) I write out all the jobs on post it notes and put them on the fridge, it’s so satisfying to take them off after each task is completed! There’s no better feeling than having everything ‘just so’ and relaxing in a beautifully clean home!
One other ‘hack’ I recently found is unscrewing the plug holes in the kitchen sink to thoroughly clean. It’s amazing how dirty they are even though soapy water is constantly running through!

Thank you for sharing your hacks! I’m someone who suffers with severe asthma, so I love solutions that don’t involve a lot of fuss or fragrances, but still get the job done. Your solution for cleaning the wall and baseboards was excellent! I’m excited to get rid of the scuff marks off my walls and the dust as well 🙌🏽 Thanks again

Hey Emily! I’m a jeweller and was curious about the cleaner you mentioned. ;).I checked it out and it has similar ingredients to ones I’ve used. I would recommend to use rubber gloves and a mask when using it.;) and rinse your jewellery in a bowl of baking soda and water after to neutralize any of the liquid that may be left even after rinsing .;) loved all the tips in this video as usual. ❤️❤️

    Wow..awesome tips...you are a fairy princess...😊
As a man, looking at the commenters i seem to be in a minority however when i saw how many cleaning implements you have, i have similar traits...
Its the annoying nooks and cranies that keep me awake at night (whilst Mrs) sleeps like a baby..
By the way i have a tip for creased clothes that you need not iron...after your evening shower (its steamy)...take whatever clothes you need trousers, tshirts, dresses place each on a coat hanger then put the coat hamgers in the bathroom on the overhead shower pole/bar...next morning no creases. if there are a few items very creased use shower to gently spritz and hang up again 😊
My wife thought i was crazy walking straight into our holiday hotel, unpacked and filled the holiday hotel bathroom with my next days outfit...she was of course eating a beautiful slice of humble pie for breakfast 👍🏽😉😁

Dear Emily, YOU ARE NOT LAZY.. no, no, no! Great hacks, I so enjoy your vlogs etc. You are such a lovely person, and Matt. I'm quite lonely here at home.. empty nest syndrome!.. I hadn't realised how displaced I would feel, no Mother duties needed! It takes time to find a new direction and purpose, a new season!! Enjoy every moment you have as a family, treasure it all.. even the tough lessons that come with a growing family. God bless you and your lovely family. L.

The foil hack in place of scrubby pad is great. We’ve been through a period in Australia (NSW) that we weren’t able to get soapy steel wool pads.
Have just written denture tablets on the shopping list. I wonder if Milton would be fine too given you use it to clean baby bottles.

The only chemical cleaner products i use is oven cleaner, dawn dishwashing liquid, soft scrub, laundry detergent, and a mold and mildew remover for certain things outside. They are used for very specific tasks. Oven cleaner would work for the grime on your pan. I use it to help restore cast iron. Dawn works better than any natural cleaner for dishes and I can not let it go. Soft scrub helps clean stained white counters and spots on the tub with a scotch brite pad so i keep it for an as needed thing, and mold and mildew removed bleaches some things but i have some outdoor chairs it doesnt ruin so i use it out there. Laundry detergent i use super sparingly but it cleans more than just the laundry. I have even cleaned siding on the house with it. As well as white hats, shoes, etc. Other than that I dont use them.. i use water, vinegar, baking soda, olive oil. 😅 magic erasers are good though.

Thanks for sharing these!! Actually, I always clean my pots and pans very thoroughly after cooking. I use an abrasive cleaner available in Germany (Viss, I think the English equivalent is Cif) and dishsoap which I also use for everything stainless steel. I personally hate my pots and pans going into the cupboard without cleaning them like this. If a pot shows some rainbowy colouring inside I just briefly rinse it with a bit of vinegar. Maybe it's just me ... 🤪

My favourite cleaning ideas was the Clean hairbrushes, Clean jewellery, Clean the keyboard on laptops with a cleaning gel, Clean underneath your pans, Clean and sterilise tooth brushes using steredent tablets, Essential oils to make things smell good, Tumble dryer sheets to also make things smell fresh, amazing and lovely, Make spring cleaning to do lists, Move furniture to clean behind them, cleaning every surface, lint roll for dusting and avoid ironing make cleaning decluttering and organising time me time. were really amazing and great ways to clean the home and tumble dry cloths to clean any fake flowers. If I have any stains in anything like cups or anything else what I like to do is put some washing up liquid into the stain cups put some warm clothes leave it for a few minutes on the side and then rinse it off and it’s incredible and also I also use some pink stuff paste in my kitchen sink to give my sink a good and fresh clean and it’s genius too. Another cleaning idea which will save you plenty of time is to use Dettol multi purpose wipes to clean your kitchen surfaces if you do ever run out of method multipurpose spray as well. All of the new cleaning ideas are so useful and helpful. I also have a same headband as you but my headband is pistachio green white orange pink and purple design too. I'd love to be able to wipe our walls! We have a 1 year old- enough said. But our paint would 100% come straight off of the wall. 😥
I would LOVE a recommendation on what paint is ACTUALLY wipeable pleeaase!

Hi Em, thank you for the hacks. How do you remove the dust and dirt from that cleaning gel or is it for one use only?

Curious here, how much is a home cleaning service in the UK? What my family pays for a whole week (Monday thru Friday) in Mexico, I pay for only 2-4 hours in the US 😖

Hi Emily, where are your rings from please? Not your engagement and weddings rings, the diamond shaped ones that go into one another?

I remember when I started learning English and heard "elbow grease" for the first time, I was convinced it is some kind of liquid you buy in a shop to do your cleaning :)))

Emily your hacks are so practical and actually work, just a tip, if your kids love making slime, you can use that to pick up the dust the same way as that slimy products because that’s essentially what that product is.
Just off topic, I’ve been wondering this for a year now, do you have any idea what happened to Mrs Meldrum, she hasn’t posted for over a year, I’m just concerned and would like to know if she is okay?

Ya know what you should get. Ozonated olive oil you can buy it online it last forever, rivals any triple antibiotic ointment with out antibiotics. It’s worth having, cuts, burns, scrapes insect bites it makes everything heal quickly. I’m a retired dental professional and this stuff is sheer magic. When refrigerated it’s hard like coconut oil. You can use this anywhere- and I mean everywhere- with in reason. 😝
