I so desperately miss this show. Imagine a successful black family who love one another with respect for one another. They could come to their parents and express their problems even trying to be grownups. No vulgar or have nakedness and they had friends of all colors. Nothing close to that today.
I think he was persecuted even before the « crawled out of the woodwork « . He may have acted in poor taste, if so I would believe at most ONE accuser. He then deserve short time. But we are never told the truth only what sells news.
He shot it down way before the allegations and said he would never reboot the show and wanted to leave it how it was…so no, we wouldve never seen a reboot of this show and i completely understood his standpoint because classics shouldnt be touched🤷🏽♀️
Is he still in jail or has he been released ?? As I posted just now, He is looking pretty healthy in the most recent pic in this clip. But I've seen other pics where he looks pretty bad & almost near death !!
Cosby is Cosby...I can't stand up for his current situations. But this show was still a classic and one of the best. There's still other cast members to credit that gave it their best. It was still a very funny show. By the way.... Your sound cuts out during the clips of the show
Man. It doesn’t feel so long ago this show was on prime time. There’s now 2 generations who really could care less. They’ll never understand the impact the Cosby Show had on people. Hard to believe it’s been gone for over 30 years. If it wasn’t for Cosby’s fetish’s we could of had a reunion. I very good reunion. It would have been great to see everyone back together again. Maybe, the reunion could consist of Cliff getting busted for a Larry Nasser type of situation and the reunion becomes more of a “Connors” revamp. If they could fire “Roseanne” and continue on with the show, without’s it’s ultimate namesake, maybe the Cosby Show becomes the “Huxtable’s”. Everyone actually looks pretty good still. Lisa Bonet looks old as hell, and Raven couldn’t stay cute forever, obviously. But, I think this could be a great concept for a whole new Cosby.. opps, I mean “Hukstable” revamp.
As much as I agree that what Cosby did was dispicable, that doesn't make the show any less funny and entertaining. I'm happy to say that I own all 8 seasons on dvd and I wouldn't get rid of them for anything. I'll rewatch it anytime.
Regarding the Cosby Show all I can say is that even now, with all the reruns I'm still laughing myself silly ! The recent misbehaviour of Bill Cosby and all its consequences still puzzles me : either the death of his son and daughter(sister?) had a postponèd, violent influence on him or else he has a split personality. Looking at his face I noticed that, even when he laughs but his eyes don't laugh and coming to think of it, his face doesn't laugh either !! Something quite worrying but maybe the psychiatrists/psychologists among you can explain it better. 🥴😖
(Might get grief for this.) Loved watching The Cosby Show for most of it's run up until the Olivia joined the show. Sorry but she was way to cutie-poo & whiney. It came to the point where I was ready to hit the mute button every time she was about to open her mouth. And they did the cute-kid character already with Rudy. Haven't seen any re-runs (in Canada or @ least Toronto. ) Since the whole Bill Cosby scandal. Is the most recent pic really from this year (2021 ?) He is looking pretty good/ healthy in it & the last one I saw he was looking really bad. He is still in jail right ??
Not a word about Cosby's incarceration?? That was the only reason I watched this. I ended up setting the speed at 2+ to get to the interesting part which NEVER HAPPENED!!

There was really no choice but to remove the show. The man was an icon of wholesomeness and then his true nature emerged.
