Back in the 70’s -90’s I had s 1970 Bronco 3 speed on the Tree with a Power Angle Plow. I just did Driveways. I only charged between $20-$50 for them. I had a lot of regular customers too. I made around $1000-$1800 for about 10-12 hours work BUT I LOVED DOING IT!!! Sometimes I would take one of my two daughters with me and taught them how to use the plow controls, after a while they Knew what I was about to do and did what they had to! They Loved it!!!
that's good money making back then. minus the fuel and the cost of the dings the winter snow did to the rig and blade. still s good day of work and $$$

@darrelldart4573 i mean he probably thought that because Isuzu is japenese. But even then only prototypes were made in Japan. Gatta give him alittle credit lol
I did this in the 1970s and 80s , good good money !, hard work a lot harder than you think, it looks easy but it's not, there's a lot more to it, breakdowns, what day is get covered in ice and snow it weighs a plow down, put the string on the hydraulics, unforeseen things!, stupid people pulling out in front of you when you cannot stop!, kids during you to run over them, not to mention the cost involved in it, the plow loan cost as much as a truck does, and then the rigging for the frame of the truck I'm getting it all buttoned and welded ! , unless you live where there's a lot of snow it is not worth it ! , do you wear out a truck real fast ! , but it can be enjoyable if you have the right equipment the right truck the right plow the money to put into it, and the right resources to be able to work on it !!
The reason the video was so short it's because they used a GMC to push the snow across the street and then they had to call a tow truck and have a new transmission put in
While the dodge frame snapped, simultaneously blowing the tranny, and snapping those plastic control arms, assuming the boingy bed springs could support a plow in the first place 😂
Lmao no… it’s not a dodge…. But I see you’re insanely uneducated fanboying hard…. This is a DURAMAX. The transmission is an ALLISON. Which is NOT a Chevy or GMC product whatsoever not even close. Also one of the best rated heavy duty transmissions ever made.
There is always some guy has to make stupid remarks. I have 9 western wide out plows on chevy duramax trucks. I plow all winter every winter in Utah in all snow types it does just fine in wet heavy snow
Duramax with that sweet plow in SW Ontario is still brand new 10 years later hahaha. I swear guys just drive around with them to look cool same goes for the sleds in the back hahahha.
I’ve plowed with a wide out, I love those things. However, I wouldn’t want to put a plow on a nice Denali. I plowed with a 2017 sierra 3500hd work truck regular cab, long bed. 6.0. Best truck for plowing I think.
Sure, until the Exhaust Fluid System malfunctions and ends your day and empties your emergency repair fund.... Or You can trade it in and lose gabillions...... GM sux.....

That’s called planning ahead! Nice work.
Great truck with the Japanese engine, the Duramax!
Made in Ohio lol... not japenese
@ISuckAtCOD1 yup you definitely can't fix stupid just have to accommodate it 😂😂Japanese like whaaaat
@darrelldart4573 i mean he probably thought that because Isuzu is japenese. But even then only prototypes were made in Japan. Gatta give him alittle credit lol
@ISuckAtCOD1 nah I mean if they use their phones they certainly can do some research on any subject so no credit is deserved lol
@darrelldart4573 lmao yeah your right. I thought about that after I said that 😂
What year is this baby? Awesome video!
Doesn't matter the vehicle...
It's the plow system that's impressive
Not always true
@dues-cheater If it pushes.. it doesn't matter

Not a transmission, just a new front end.

Should've used a Ford Super duty
No transmission issues with this truck plowing and towing with it for 5 years now

Not bad but try doing that in wet heavy snow!😊
Exactly

I love plowing with my Duramax, I have a snowdogg plow on it. I see snow like that all the time here in WNY.
I don't have the Duramax I got the 6 l but she pushes pretty good.
I am from WNY as well
@larsbambi1575 nice, I love our winters lol.
Where is this? We used to have snow like this in new hampshire, but no more
This is in Africa, this is just a light snow storm we have daily.
I live in Indiana and I haven't seen snow like this since about 1980
Absolutely amazing!
Nice Isuzu dude👍🏻🤣

Просто офигенно, глаз радуется
I absolutely love watching this from Florida!!! 😂😅
It was freezing cold in Fort Myers the other night. It got down to 59.
That sure looks mighty powdery.
Grande!!! 💪💪💪
Good job yiu put snow plough on front car because yiu knew it would snow last night
Are they stuck?
That’s the way you do it. Let’s go!!!
Pretty soon I'll Need 1. 🎉❤🎉❤🎉🎉
Glad I Live In Virginia Beach. Yeah Gotta Worry About Hurricanes But Not Snow.
A hurricane can kill you not snow, really?
@@johnmiller9127- yup, when it snows a lot, just stay home. When the hurricane’s coming, GTFO.
And that's how it is done. 💪💪💪💪
Nice truck
Glad u had your blinky lite going to warn the low flying birds!
That is amazing! Wow! That is so cool and exciting! You're my hero for posting great content like this.
Dry tires and were warm help with the momentum
Man I miss that 😢
Nobody ever reveals the best part.
The results.
😮 That's a thing of beauty!😊❤
Yeah, that's great for dry and powdery.Snow, but you do that?Same push with 2 feet of wet snow. That's gonna stop that truck in a heartbeat
Literally nobody cares cause that’s not how it works 😂
In my experience the light duty front end exploding is the biggest problem.
I want to live HERE 💜💜💜💜🇺🇸

Those are really good plow trucks we used to have a 15 reg cab 6.0 one ton shoulda kept that one
Is this plow better than the boss dxt v blade?
still have my 80s 1ton 8.6 western it takes more abuse and keeps going than these new fancy trucks with 20k 14 foot plows
That's real close to tearing off that beacon!😮
That’s what friends are for .
It’ll almost be 80 degrees here today THAT looks really really cold.
What is that white powder called?
Best plows out there are the westerns. I’ve had them for years never a problem.

I miss doing that stuff

Bent truck frame 😂
Nice and fluffy
How much?
Pushing snow across a road. Prohibited in just about every jurisdiction I have ever lived. Great video….
@@Dunno513 this is a commercial property drive lane to the parking garage, good advise tho not many people know not to push across a road
Maybe think before you speak
I push across the road. Don't care lol
the road belongs to me . the property on both sides are my property. the snow was a gift
I've dun it a thousand times.
Most of the reason he’s able to plow is he has good tires!!!
Incredible
Looked like me last week coming out of my garage on my lawn tractor with a 27 hp Kohler! Mine sounded better though!
Bravo ai molto ingegno 😊
I Want to eat it!!! ❄️❄️❄️❄️❤❤❤❤😋😋😋😋
Rookie driver, never turn your blade when trying to pile
😂 BIG DEAL,, A FEW INCHES OF SNOW,,A KID CAN REMOVE IT WITH A POPSICLE STICK,,LOL😂
Get it done badd plow👹
Wow people will post anything these days lmfao
So cool.
I've watched this several times and cringe every time because the clearance between your rig and the door frame is next to non-existent. Cool video
Love it
My little garden tractor could go through that powder too....
Need some help? My plow is bored. No snow here

You almost lost your beacon
Only until you get the low quality DEF light, 200 miles, and it becomes a brick.
Try a henniker and I’ll get a bigger scoop

Diesel no good for plowing youll fk that engine up Diesel pull gas push
