Smart move switching the crave with the glitch. 4:11 . I agree that the glitch is such a great and fun disc but I just won’t throw it in a tournament. Now the crave on the other hand, I have two. One that got ran over by a garbage truck and is now stable and a fission one that is a perfect flip up to slight turn. Love them both.
I was predominantly Innova, Discmania until i started throwing anything from MVP. The plastics and machining of the discs coupled with the consistency they bring to the table is unrivaled. Looking forward to you diving more into MVP in 2024 bro ✌️
I just picked up a lightweight Fission octane 163grams and hit my PR distance twice today first 445 second 450. the 445 was in a 10-15 mph headwind as well.
If you like the Hex to be in the bag, I would suggest getting a couple of Watermelon Hex’s. They are a bit more overstable but in my opinion is the best Hex ever made. I stacked up on them aswell
Why should he use a driver as an approach disc? I know that many do, especially rec and am players, but Nate uses A2 as an approach disc and he has bagged Firebird for longer forehands. If we wanted a driver as an approach disc, then he'd use Firebird or something similar as an approach disc instead of A2. Driver is a great approach disc in various situation and especially when skip is needed, but I don't like the idea of having a driver as main approach disc. Skips and rolls too easily and not as easy to control the speed.
I throw a whole bag of mvp and it really started with hex, crave, and the pixel. I dont throw my pixel but its a great putter. Ive hit my longest putts with the pixel. But on a throwing basis i love my hex, crave, tesla, and my fission time laspe.
My go-to forehand driver is the Zenith. I think you chucked one in the water a while back 😅. It in Plasma bombs reliability, and in Neutron it's a solid stable control driver.
The Tempo is the new approach disc coming out this year. Apparently it's great, but so far it's only been released for circuit challenges and maybe gyropalooza boxes
Prism plasma envy is the most overstable. I’ve thrown the envy in every plastic and bag 2, a beat in neutron and the prism plasma. Also the difference between the echo and the hex, is that the echo is a -1.5,1.. so it’s a bit more flippy
@@JohnDubU like gld3gld3 says, the proton is similar to the neutron but I’d say the proton beats in slower and when it stops beating in, it’s a bit more stable in its final form.
I used to putt decently (for a non-competitive casual player) with ions for about 2 years. Just made the switch to anodes at the start of this year and my % has risen noticeably.
You gotta try the Terra as a forehand disc. I tried a zillion discs until I found my precious. 😂 I couldn't find anything in */*/0/2 or */*/0/3 that could handle torque well until the Terra
@@darkndeed6311 I haven't gotten my hands on a tempo yet, but I hope it's not as skippy as my pyros tend to be. For me the stabilizer just wasn't quite torque resistant enough on a forehand to keep it in the bag.
Perhaps it’s the plastic? I’m with the entropy crowd. I have a Cosmic Neutron Entropy that won’t hold any turn. Which is why I also bag a Stabilizer. Lol
Nate - I've got about 15 L2 Timelapses and I've been lucky enough to win a giveaway from your channel. I would 💯 send you a couple, so you can have enough spares to get one in your bag!
Idk about you but mine felt straighter than I expected it to be. Feels great just wasnt as stable as I was expecting and I only throw the disc about 320 max on a good day so maybe the colors were more or less stable.😅
That Tesla is dope! I don't think you mentioned, how much does it weigh? 😉 No mention of Atom?! The disrespect! I think it was a solid round. What is on the menu for today? Please say seafood linguine.
Best manufacturer. Their distance driver game needs work. Maybe the proton/fission Time Lapse will help. Their approach discs are just bad, including the tempo. I also wish they had a better straight to stable midrange like the pathfinder or MD3ish.
@@kimmomatikainen1843 Just not very good imo. It's less torque resistant and doesn't go very far in comparison. The best disc they have for that slot is the Atom, which is actually insanely far flying and torque resistant. Just not quite fast enough.
It is a great understable midrange, but in most cases too understable if person throws midrange 300 ft. If MVP/Axiom is needed, then Detour would be the one. And Paradox for person who throws max 200 ft I like the flight of Uplink, but don't like the shape of it. These are personal preferences. I am slowly moving away from MVP/Axiom/Streamline though. Have to get one Detour though for test.
Nate is about to enter his Simon arc in 2024. About to watch that bag go from 90% Discmania to 90% MVP👀
👀👀
Kinda rooting for that to happen🫣
👀👀

Try the Axiom Tempo as approach disc. Have you tried the Watt yet?
This was a fun one. Have you tried the Defy? The proton one they have out rn is pretty solid.
Noted 📝

My boy going steady on the daily uploads👏🏼👏🏼
I play mostly wooden courses and the Deflector is my most used utility disc. For scrambleshots and getting around tight bends.
Hey!!! A more overstable envy is definitely cosmic neutron and the gyropalooza run. They are dope
Have you tried the Fireball for a forehand approach disc?
I have not
Why should he use a driver as an approach disc? I know that many do, especially rec and am players, but Nate uses A2 as an approach disc and he has bagged Firebird for longer forehands. I have a relay in my bag. It's always my second throw on a ton of holes. Every time I have the same reaction. I should throw this more often.
I loved the Timelapse as my beefy wind fighter but I could not get used to forehand’s with it so it didn’t stay.
I throw a whole bag of mvp and it really started with hex, crave, and the pixel. I dont throw my pixel but its a great putter. Ive hit my longest putts with the pixel. But on a throwing basis i love my hex, crave, tesla, and my fission time laspe.
That rhythm shot was sick. Bruh and the pyro shot that skipped off the road. I think MVP should use this video...homie killing it with the park jobs!
My go-to forehand driver is the Zenith. I think you chucked one in the water a while back 😅. It in Plasma bombs reliability, and in Neutron it's a solid stable control driver.
Nate you should ty the pilot in electron for Streamline, its a great putter. Rythm neutron is great for forehand its alot flatter than the fission.
Mint disc lasso is like a more overstable envy in the eternal plastic. Mint bobcat is a 5 speed, but feels kinda similar to an A2
The Tempo is the new approach disc coming out this year. Apparently it's great, but so far it's only been released for circuit challenges and maybe gyropalooza boxes
nomads are dope. i have base plastic and just got a plasma plastic cuz it looks sick
Get your hands on a circuit challenge tempo. My favorite approach disc
The new tempo has changed my forehand game!
Prism plasma envy is the most overstable. I’ve thrown the envy in every plastic and bag 2, a beat in neutron and the prism plasma.
Also the difference between the echo and the hex, is that the echo is a -1.5,1.. so it’s a bit more flippy
Good to know. Would you say proton is more stable than neutron?
@@JohnDubU In my experience proton is very similar to neutron. Prism proton and cosmic neutron are more over stable...
My glow ones are most stable for me. i bag 2 2018 eclipse envys for the overstability
@@JohnDubU like gld3gld3 says, the proton is similar to the neutron but I’d say the proton beats in slower and when it stops beating in, it’s a bit more stable in its final form.
i vote you can do the back 9 snack time! also dude gotta start wearing more layers XD happy new year!
I love the hex for my forehand approaches
Try tempo for overstable approach!
For your sidearm, I would try a light MVP Motion 11,4,0,4.
Motions are 9,3.5,0,4
I used to putt decently (for a non-competitive casual player) with ions for about 2 years. Just made the switch to anodes at the start of this year and my % has risen noticeably.
Anode is my putting putter as well and it just flies so well.
I am bagging the hex and envy for a while. Love them. New addition of Crave, Detour and Atom. Looks like I need a Tesla and Rhythm
Love the Pyro in the open for 250’ shots forehand and backhand. I think you might like the Ohm and Watt if you haven’t tried them.
So neither the Hex or Echo are good forehand mid ranges??
I toss around the glitch with my spouse too! A fun disc that I sometime bring to the course
I would recommend the matrix. I feel like it's a great slightly over-stable mid.
You gotta try the Terra as a forehand disc. I tried a zillion discs until I found my precious. 😂 I couldn't find anything in */*/0/2 or */*/0/3 that could handle torque well until the Terra
You need to get a Watt! It’s the adult version of the glitch and MVPs best putter
For an approach disc from MVP try a stabilizer
We gotta get you on the Watt train!
Gotta get your hands on a tempo for them forehand approaches
The Pyro is great. It's perfect for 250 to 275 side hand or back 👍
The streamline stabilizer and the axiom tempo (when it gets a full release) would be the other two mvp approach discs to try out
Tempo has too much overlap with the pyro imo. Stabilizer is great
@@darkndeed6311 I haven't gotten my hands on a tempo yet, but I hope it's not as skippy as my pyros tend to be. For me the stabilizer just wasn't quite torque resistant enough on a forehand to keep it in the bag.
@@benjaminwingo1623 tempo definitely is less Skippy. It is less stable than a pyro for sure.
Curious - What's bugging you about the Entropy? I've been using it for years (but also Berg)!
I’ve thrown it a handful of times and just wasn’t OS enough for me. Not a bad disc just not what I was looking for!
@@NateTurneryou must of have gotten a lemon. They are mega overstable.
Yeah I have to agree with @chuckwalla123. I have two in cosmic neutron and one in plasma. All very overstable.
I’ll check them out again!
Perhaps it’s the plastic? I’m with the entropy crowd. I have a Cosmic Neutron Entropy that won’t hold any turn. Which is why I also bag a Stabilizer. Lol
I mean if you dont like the pyro for forehands then idk entropy isnt bad but pyro for forehand is money

Axiom Tempo is my go to approach. In my main bag ever since MVP Circuit last summer. Waiting for the stock run.
Idk about you but mine felt straighter than I expected it to be. Feels great just wasnt as stable as I was expecting and I only throw the disc about 320 max on a good day so maybe the colors were more or less stable.😅
Looks like you need a Pixel putter😉
Motion to rename hole 16 Holtur, second time you chanted "hold the turn" this month.
That Tesla is dope! I don't think you mentioned, how much does it weigh? 😉 No mention of Atom?! The disrespect! I think it was a solid round. What is on the menu for today? Please say seafood linguine.
I would try the reactor for forehand approaches, pretty stable and I like the feel for forehand throws
Forehand drives*, Nate has that canon on that forehand for approaches.
Classic disc golf expression: "Yay! We got a three.."
OTB Open Cosmic Neutron Matrix for forehand approach all day .
For a putting putter, you might like the Atom.
Proton Envy has the least glide IMO, but I think Neutron/Neutron Soft is usually the most overstable. Prism runs have been OS as well.
I am not lying when I said the crave is literally IT. BEST DISC IN ITS SLOT.
You definitely need a Relay, best disc ever
Best manufacturer. Their distance driver game needs work. Maybe the proton/fission Time Lapse will help. Their approach discs are just bad, including the tempo. I also wish they had a better straight to stable midrange like the pathfinder or MD3ish.

whats the weight on your rhythm
174g
What are everyone’s thoughts on the MVP Volt?
Regarding the Envy, Cosmic Neutron is generally a bit more overstable than Proton.
Just throw the Pyro forehand😉
Simon Line Time lapse 12/5/-1/3
Rhythm 7/5.5/-2/1
Tesla (149g)
Streamline Echo 5/5/-1/1
Hex
Pyro 5/4/0/2.5
Detour
Envy
Proxy
Glitch
Electron streamline pilots would be a good PA3 comp.
Proton Matrix and Eclipse Resistor 👨🏻🍳 🤌
Should do a stats of rounds without a C2 putts made :p
That would crush my self esteem lol
I am blown away. There wasn't a Watt in there😮😂
Idk about y’all but my Time Lapse flys exactly like my destroyers but just not as flippy.
Can you believe that Tesla is ONLY 149 grams? And it is THAT overstable?
Who would’ve thought?!?
Uplink uplink uplink uplink uplink
