Back in it's hayday the gameplay was as close as this trailer. Pure chaos and fun. Planes bombarding from the skies, tanks demolishing infantry, people flying around, screaming, bayonet charges, medics rushing into combat with syringes to revive people and dying in their efforts. I miss those days.

Revisting this in 2024, I can gladly say this were much simpler times with Battlefield. Battlefield 2042 hasnt given me that Battlefield feeling since Battlefield 1.
You can say whatever you want about Battlefield 1, but you can not say it wasn't a very VERY epic game, so much more so than any other Battlefield game before and after.
