    I never really cared much for Jeff Beck. I have the tv series Supernatural to thank for steering me towards Beck Bogert & Appice.
    I got my copy of Kingdom Come's Independent in the mail on Saturday. To my surprise, the seller threw in an extra cd - Kingdom Come's Perpetual.

    Brendon you are like me. Music collecting is an obsession for me too. Today I have added five 💿 cds to my already huge pile. Primal Scream, Propellerheads, Fun Lovin Criminals, Underworld live, Stereo Mcs etc. I just can't stop. All great sounds from the 1990s. It's an addiction isn't it. A healthy addiction though.

    Great choice Brendon in Utopia POV, one of my favorites especially the song Mimi gets mad that Cas sings.

    On the theme of Japanese bands have you come across Vow Wow? One of the first Japanese metal bands with nine albums since 1975. Amazing singer. Recommended.

      Yes both Vow Wow and the earlier version of the band Bow Wow. I’ve got several of their albums. The Rock Candy reissues of Bow Wow are great.

    I recently found the Japanese band EZO's vinyl album with Flashback Heart Attack on it. I totally forgot about that band. EZO's singer and drummer joined Loudness in the 90's for a while until the Loudness reunion.

    In addition I also completed my R.E.M. 90’s albums without me knowing I did that. So a pretty good day at Sound Exchange.

    Wow Brendon that’s a lot of music that would last me a whole while. I’m still enjoying my selection that I got from the store. My big find was the Eric Clapton “Another ticket”. Without me knowing it, it also completed my Clapton 80’s albums. I might get the re-issue of that album at some point. The one album I didn’t think I was going to get that a-ha greatest hits. It is a 2 cd set. What I like most about that it starts current day (2009 at the time) and went backwards. The 2nd cd are the classic era 80’s and 90’s. Take on me is not in your face at track 1 it’s track 4. If I never heard that song again, I’d be quite ok with that. But you have to respect that song it’s got over 1 Billion views on TH-cam. I really enjoy that newer Europe album. I never got around to listening to that Roxette album just yet. But I know that’s a great album. The big mystery holds me how the R. E. M. Album sounds. The reason why I didn’t have this album “Adventures in High-Fi” is because I never found it anywhere.

    Two albums by Steve Morse appeared in the Deep Purple section of my favorite record store. First time I saw them. Stressfest and Out Standing in their Field. As I'm in an instrumental mood, I took them.
    Other finds :
    - Dream theater, "Black clouds and silver linings", a 3 cd edition with nice cover songs and instrumental versions
    - Bob Dylan, "Time out of mind" : I wanted to have the original version of "Not Dark Yet", which was covered by Dave Gahan on his last solo album.

    Brendon, Just want to say Thank You and you always do such a great job! I have really been enjoying all of your "Record Store Meet Ups" presentations! Anthony (owner-The Sound Exchange) is quite a character! Chris Propfe has always been great! I am going to try to attend your next Meet Up in October! I live a little ways away, but not all THAT far! I can drive to NYC in about 3 hours or less! Do you have any CD's (or vinyl) by a bgroup from the 70's called "BANG?" what about "BLOODROCK?" So many groups that are )or WERE) so underrated! Thanks Brendon!!! Keep On Rockin'!

      Hi Thomas, I’d love it if you could make the next Meetup! That wound be amazing. As for the bands you mentioned I do have the debut album from Bang. No Bloodrock yet but I’m aware of them and will probably pick some up eventually.

    I don't rely too much upon Wikipedia but it says Brother Cane singer/guitarist Damon Johnson was with the Delta Rebels.

    • @davej.meister5421
      @davej.meister5421 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This might have been Damon's band just before Brother Cane.

      His discography lists him playing on the self titled album just before this one which is called Down In The Dirt. As best as I can tell he is not on this one. But the store also has the self titled album so I will be checking out to see if he is in fact playing on the self titled album. That would be cool. That said, his discography lists him as playing on the self titled album by Witness which apparently he does not as they used session players and he joined after just for the photo. So maybe Delta Rebels is the same. Regardless thanks for the heads up.
