Little tip though you clean up and trim out all the red from the fillets and soak them in salt water over night and hit with milk prior to the flour and completely different fish, promise! Been eating blacks since I was 5. Or at least one's under 2 lbs.
We keep plenty on the bluegill and shell crackers down here in NC. Some of the best fish to eat!!!

Yall should try small mouth it tasted pretty good, and rock bass too, maybe do a catch a cook on which freshwater bass tasted the bass lol. Go to a lake where all species of freshwater bass is found and do a challenge catch all freshwater bass species catches and cook.
