I would've went with aftermarket speakers again like kicker, alpine, kenwood. Factory gm speakers are junk, I've had a lot of them go bad in my vehicles, you can also buy harness adapters instead of cutting the factory harness.

Too late now…. If I had known it had those speakers in there I would have replaced them with like speakers.
