This song is definitely kind of poppy, but Tuomas wrote some heavier parts to it too, so that it wouldn't be too poppy. That's what I believe. I suggest you go to another Nightwish concert again. You've seen one from Wacken, and one from Tampere, how about Wembley Arena 2015 next? "7 Days to the Wolves", a heavier song to my liking and a great performance. Floor and Marko on vocals together. Floor and Tuomas, keys, both windmilling. You can hear Marko's, the bassist with THE beard, vocals more clearly. And you might want to see, and like, what Floor is wearing at Wembley. Nightwish is mostly about cinematic, fantasy and science but although well performed metal. This "pop" song was the second single (and inspired by Darwin) from the "Endless forms most beautiful" album (2015). Quite underrated song nowadays and rarely reacted. But i like it quite a lot. It's uplifting and fresh, but still somewhat heavy. No vocal challenge to queen Floor. The original lyric video is quite beautiful. Nothing phenomenal here, but there are lots of treats to come when you continue. The bassist is Marko Hietala, one of the most respected singer/musician of the European metal genre. He had his own band "Tarot" and also a solo career. Album "Pyre of the Black Heart" is new. If you'll continue your tour, you'll find how essential Marko is as a second lead or backup vocalist for Nightwish. Good job. 💕👍
And Floor is a tall and strong looking woman, but she was bullied for that when young. So she's a little shy about her amazonian figure (which is gorgeous if you ask me). She's a very down to earth and humble person, who has lot's of interesting stuff on her own TH-cam channel. The latest video is her cover of "Let it go" from a Disney movie "Frozen". Horrible 👂🐛😖, but a great performance from her.
