MiniMedLessons Thank you so much for this series... noticed you mistakenly said the SA node is in the right ventricle instead of the right atrium

Thanks for watching and thanks for catching this! I clearly know it is the Right Atrium (as I'm drawing in the RA at the time), but mistakenly said ventricle. Thanks for catching!

This video is great, I had a basic understanding of what an ECG is supposed to look like and how the heart depolarize. However I did not know how to break down the QRS. I am only in high school but I like to study the medical field (amongst many things) so videos like this are great. I’ve been with this channel for a little bit and I’m super excited to see this series showing up. Over the last year or so I’ve watched every video of yours I can find. This is a great channel and an awesome chance at getting solid information that’s presented in a comprehensive manner. Thank you for this video!

I find ECGs and their interpretation fascinating and your video is helping me enormously to understand the heart, its functions and disfunctions. I'm looking forward to seeing your other videos in this series. Thanks!

this was a little in-depth for me but, I'm saving it. I KNOW I'll need it later on in nursing school. The segment about the -&+ with relation to directions and amplitude was the 1st. i have seen in the numerous videos I've been through. Thank you for the explanation.

It's funny how I stumbled upon this video when I was just studying about the action potential in neurons.
I just noticed a mistake in the ECG-graph @52:34 Between 1.0 and 1.2 seconds there's a missing 'small block'. It probably just went missing when pasting the larger ECG-paper :D

    Two questions for you....
    1. Are you still planning to make the rest of the series? I LOVE what you've don't do far but it looks like it ends at episode 3.
    2. What is going on, cause, etc... if the flat period between the end of the T wave and start of the next P? Does the heart just pause and then fire again? Or is it building up charge like a capacitor? If it is just pausing, what causes it know to fire off again?
