- In this episode of the Rim, the extortionists raided the colony in three separate parties. However, the colony’s well-planned defenses held strong, easily repelling the attacks with minimal damage.
Meanwhile, a caravan was dispatched to investigate the smoke spewer, only to discover an overwhelming display of firepower from the mech turrets guarding the area. Macey attempted to take potshots at the turrets, but they had little effect. Realizing the danger, the colonists decided to make a run for cover toward the north of the map.
Disaster struck when Flerp was hit by a cannon round, leaving him incapacitated. As the others rushed to rescue him, another shell landed nearby, injuring the team further. Just when things seemed at their worst, a sudden white light engulfed them-somehow, miraculously, they found themselves unharmed, as if time had reset. they were back home, preparing to leave for the mission. When they arrive, The turrets, once an insurmountable threat, had been disassembled as if by magic.
Seizing the opportunity, the team charged forward, broke down the door, and opened fire on the smoke spewer, determined to put an end to its pollution once and for all.
