    Good stuff. Poplar is a good choice. It's hard as a brick once it gets some age.

      +Hardnox yeah and works up easily with hand tools. I am going to paint it with milk paint after completion. Thanks for watching.

    I've been building furniture for years, but have not taken the time or spent the money to build a piece completely with non-power hand tools. I have really nice power tools, but a pitiful collection of quality hand tools. You're making me wanna go shopping and give it a shot.

      I have some good power tools but I prefer the hand tools if time allows.

    a screw-down hold fast? what fun is a hold fast if you don't have to whap it with a hammer?

    Oh no you don't! I want to see part 2 today or there'll be trouble...
    Seriously though I rate your work over many much more popular You Tubers. You need a better mike in the workshop though it's picking up a lot of noise bouncing around the space... Not being picky just an observation. I'll quite happily watch and indeed listen to your work however much editing time you choose to put in :o)
