- The Reformation marked a pivotal event in church history-namely, a return to the apostolic Gospel. In this Reformation Day message, Alistair Begg examines the good news of salvation as proclaimed in Romans 3: that a right standing with God is not something that we are called to produce but something which God has chosen to provide to us as a gift by faith in Jesus. Only the cross of Calvary can bring undeserving sinners into a living relationship with a holy God.

Jesus, the Son of God, came to live, to die, and to be raised, according to the scriptures, to save his people from their sins. Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this we will do if God permits.
All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
Remember only way to repent and be saved by Christ act 11:14-18, Luke 11:9-13 and Zeph 3:0 just follow only the original gospel tradition teaching not churches but Jesus will guide you personally to the end John 10:1-6,11-16, Acts 4:12 and 1 John 2:24-25!

Of course it does. Only proves you're born again, which you can't fake. Still, you can't work to be born again, though, or earn heaven, or anything else to that matter in Christian faith.

Do you genuinely believe that we have a part in salvation. That we are even redeemable with the works we can do and it be good enough for a completely Holy and Righteous God?
If God is so good that he even had to separate us from sin (after the fall) how much can we contribute for it to be good enough for Him?
