I feel like I'm saying "This traumatised me so I'm recommending it to you" but if you are looking for a book which is uncomfortable, I highly recommend Bitter Crown of Thistle by Alisha Galvan. But I will say to take heed of the trigger warnings
yay, you had a fantastic reading month in june - and i loved hearing all about it! 🥰 i’m still interested in reading silver in the bone and appreciate the warning about the pacing. i believe the sequel will be out soon. why do authors write their books so much faster than i’m taking to read them? 😂 i’m super excited that you enjoyed abroad in japan so much! it’s such a delight when a present hits the right spot. loved both beach read and funny story and luckily still have three unread books from emily henry on my tbr. may there always be a next emily henry to read 🤞 not sure i’m up for it, at least not right now, but saving noah sounds interesting. i didn’t get much reading done in june but i was extraordinarily, exceptionally good at buying books 🤣 have you ever read the kind worth killing by peter swanson? i gave it a re-listen as my memory was a bit fuzzy and i was curious about its sequel. it’s a really good thriller. unfortunately, for me, the sequel (the kind worth saving) took a bit of the magic away from book one. the sequel is still a solid thriller. maybe i’ll start listening to the third installment tonight.. hope your reading in july will be fantastic and that the next book to feral releases really really soon! have a lovely day, cuddy, and keep well! 💜
