thanks for the vid. wow! that was a poor model! I got one of these into my removables lab the other day, I outsourced it to an ortho lab. I want to do these in the future. What solder, flux and equipment does your lab use to solder the bands to the wire? should i use the electric solder machine I have, or should I use a small torch flame? Also, Do you not have to make a bead seal on the palate like I we do on adult dentures?
Hi would a nearly 3 yr old have the ability to pull these off? Can’t see how they can be very secure from the front if it’s only really cemented from the back
Good question it would be very hard to pull these off, the wire going from the bands to the front is think and is made of spring har stainless steel. But if the child is persistant enough they could probably do it! hese are made to be removed by the doctor with the correct tools.

Yes the impression can be made before the extractions, then the lab can carve the teeth off the model to mimic the extractions, then construct the Pedo Partial. Then at time of delivery, they can extract the teeth and insert the appliance, though sometime the doctor might like some healing time prior to insertion of the appliance
Yes, this is cemented in. Only the dr test can remove it, and only when the adult teeth start coming in underneath it.

I went to a Dental Laboratory Technician school in San Antonio. Just do a search for one close to you they are sprinkled throughout the country.

Not sure where you are located but do a search for "Pediatric Dentist" in your area, they are a specialty dentist I get these orders from.

Do these ever get yellow? Or will they fall off?
Plastic teeth are usually resistant to staining. Sometimes the teeth will pop off due to the kid biting on ice or something hard.
