Hey you two- just found your channel. I have an Airstream and have some advice. First a bit on my story. I chose an Airstream and the floorpan I wanted and ended up with something different and have come to really like it. Consider that yo can change or have changed your Airstream to make it yours without buying another one. Yes, a new one gives you various colors and newer hardware but overall it is only a variation on a theme. The 25, 27 and 28 are very similar overall. There is a few feet more in the 27 and 28 but get this. In almost every case, there is one foot of dead space in the bedrooms, why? Because the intent was to turn the bed from a sideways position as in the 25' to a lengthwise position. So, you end up with the other foot in the middle with some extra wardrobe and cabinet. Bathrooms are about the same. My point is that your need may be able to be addressed by you changing or visiting one of the Airstream custom shops. Just saying. I haven't caught up with your other videos but thought I would post this comment to this video regardless of what you ended up doing.
Won't be blue with Barcelona blue!! My globetrotter is 19ft so probeley 17ft cabin. I do love the base camp. But I've renovated so I'm all set up to how I like mine. Only complaint I have my bed is a single. I will film the inside of my trailer here soon stay🦩 tuned.
Haha! We’re playing catch up over here after an inconsistent 5 months 😁 that Barcelona blue is such a nice color! Did you film the inside of your trailer? We’d love to see it!
@@OutdoorsInn im getting ready to film the inside, few more touches left.i will definatley keep posted, middle of october lookin like, thanks for staying tuned!!
We have the 27FBT GT in Barcelona Blue and love the color. We initially thought London Grey but last minute changed to blue and glad we did. As for the table, agree with you 100%, in the way and takes up valuable couch space. We have a 10 year old that sleeps there as well so we are constantly moving the table, what a pain! As for a trade in… nope don’t do it. Wait for other life changes then decide what makes the most sense. Sounds like Jameson is thinking a baby in the near future. If you have to make a change go for the 33, you’ll appreciate all the room and amenities!
That Barcelona blue is so nice! Converting that table into a bed is not ideal at all for sure. Completely agree though, we’re going to have to wait until life changes force us to make a change.
Consider how and where you want to travel with your unit. The extra length makes it more difficult to maneuver, and impossible to park in some National or State Parks. There’s also the additional weight. Have you looked into ‘ Lagoon’(?)tables? They’re often used in class B+ and van and boat builds
Haha not even! Just considering getting out of the one we’re in ow in favor of a better layout (in my opinion haha -devan). Gotta work on it with Jameson some more though!
I have been watching you from the beginning and your video and editing skills are really improving. This is a nicely, polished video. Hard decision on the change. We have a 30’ classic and love the space. We had actually ordered it with the white upholstery, but it arrived with the brown. We were wondering if the white gets dirty easily…guess we know!
Thank you, Patti! So sorry that your AS arrived with the wrong color scheme - that’s not good at all. The white for us, certainly gets dirty with 2 dogs. Most of it cleans up easily, but some takes elbow grease.
I (Jameson) am very interested in the office! How do you like the u-couch and what about the lack of windows? Those are the two main things getting in the way for us.
I wanted the flying cloud 27' fb with a hatch, wife wanted the 30' office so we ordered an Airstream in Tampa December 2021 and the (2023 30' office) we were recently told should have by January 2023. I'm just gonna say I let her have her way...sounds better that way.
I’m really interested to look at the office. We walked through it when we bought the globetrotter, but never gave it serious considerations we’re concerned about the u-couch and lack of windows. However, I know the storage is abundant!
@@OutdoorsInn The lack of windows is what I didn't like about it but she assured me that if I was concerned about the view or lack of that I could sit outside and take it all in for as long as I wanted. (She will be working from home and needed the designated space.) The only Office we were able to look at before ordering was at the Tampa show with many people looking at the same time.
There are a ton of really nice trailers with reg size bathrooms & nice kitchen areas, bunk rooms that can be?an office too, etc. Dont have to be 40+ feet either.
I purchased a new Airstream Rangeliner. It appears that the window in the sliding door was not installed properly. Neither Airstream or Ram consider it their problem to fix. Also, I have discovered that the generator is leaking gas. Apparently that will be up to Cummings to fix. All of this is very disapointing.
Check under the front couch to see the quality of the wiring. Our 30 Classic had an absolute rats nest for wiring. Definitely does not represent the price of these RVs.
Love the rapport with you guys. Sure you will be on the road in no time. Check out Tim y'all. Coolest guy in van life. So creative with budget ideas. Awesome!! MobangFoYoBucks channel. 🥰
Sorry. Having a hard time following your video. What does a tattoo or concert have to do with "Getting out of our new RV after less than a year." A bit scattered.
Hey there! Thanks for your feedback and taking time to watch. We like to throw in a little bit of day in the life and/or travel in each of our videos. I'd agree, this one seems a bit scattered.
Very cool couple. Hope my wife will be into something like this in our future.
Dude, ... the VALUE in making the change is ... 'Happy Wife, Happy Life.'
Jamie,.one thing you need to consider........Happy wife happy life!!!😁
😂 maybe she'd be happy in the classic??

My vote: 30' Classic. I believe you will never regret buying the best.
That 30’ classic does seem like a really good fit!! I want that reclining couch 😁

The 30ft has the bedroom in the back instead of the front so when you are pulled in, you are looking at the back of the truck instead of the view
You are so right Kathi! That is the ONE thing that makes the change tough to consider for me (Devan). Really good point I wish they’d make more FBQs
@@OutdoorsInn we had a 25’ FBQ and moved to a 30’ Rear queen Globetrotter. View depends on the campsite. We love it
Go for it!
Wahoo another vote for a layout change, thanks Brian! -D
We got the 30' Office and love it. Picked it up at AS of DFW a few weeks ago.
I (Jameson) am very interested in the office! How do you like the u-couch and what about the lack of windows? Those are the two main things getting in the way for us.
@@OutdoorsInn The u-couch is a little small. Don't mind it. Works as a 2nd workspace. I don't feel windows are an issue.

Hahah I mean it’s a good point you don’t go traveling around in an rv to spend a lot of time inside!!
We have a 2021 30’ Queen GT in Barcelona blue. Love it.
The color is beautiful and I really love that floor! We love look and feel of Copenhagen Cream, but it gets dirty fast.
@@OutdoorsInn good luck keep us up to date on whatever you do
Definitely!
Hey that’s me
Haha yes!! Thank you for the great experience Pete we had a fun time!
I mean you could always go with a 44 foot 5th Wheel with 5 slides ;-)
Lol! We’d be in big trouble trying to tow that thing across the country!

Thanks 😁 I think there’s room for a change, but maybe not the 30’ globetrotter!

30 Foot Classic!
That's what I'm thinking!!
@@OutdoorsInn Great! We have a 25 foot Flying Cloud right now. We are waiting on our 2023 30 Foot Classic to come in later this year.
Wahoo! That’s going to be a big change! Bet y’all with love all the extras 🎉 especially that cozy couch!
Happy wife happy life…just saying
Haha Ed! You're not wrong. I'm thinking she'd be happy with the Classic too, right??

I (Devan) am hearing this as another vote for the trade haha!
@@OutdoorsInn 100%
I agree I don't see the value
Probably room for a change, but not the 30’ globetrotter is what I’m thinking! -J
Trade in trade up
