- A Walkthrough of One of My Farvorite N64 Game of All Time Star Fox 64. And It Will Be A GameTo Play many sleepless nights with.
Walkthrough By Minetaker
Welcome to Minetaker's Star Fox 64 Strategy Guide! The Popular N64 game is here, and with this guide, you'll have no problem mastering it. Inside you'll find tips and strategies for each of the game's fifteen stages, as well as information about locating the hidden warps, finding the secret paths, and earning medals on every stage.
In order to preserve the intended gameplay experience, it's recommended that you play through the game once or twice on your own to see what tricks you can find before submitting to temptation and ripping through this revealing guide. Once you've gone as far as you can go, this is the place to turn to learn how to go further and ultimately unveil the true ending to the game - one that no fan of the Star Fox series should miss.
Corneria
3-D Scroll Mode
Medal Requirement: 150 Hits
The first stage of Star Fox 64 is a training ground: You'll get used to all of the various maneuvers and abilities of your Arwing here. Most importantly, you'll want to get used to locking on to enemies and taking them out in groups, as it's the most effective way to rack up hits. Early on in the stage you'll have several chances to score multiple hits with relative ease, so don't hesitate to get started right away.
Elsewhere on Corneria, be sure to take out each of the big red mechs scattered about (some knock over columns, others toss them at you), as they give hit+5 rewards. The second one you come to will be at the far left of the screen, while the third will be at the far right shortly thereafter, so be sure to use your air brake or you won't get over in time. Also, don't overlook the ships that travel along the roads on the ground, as taking them out in groups will provide nice hit bonuses. After you pass the checkpoint, Falco will get into some hot water. Use your boost to stay, and be sure to eliminate all three of the ships following him, or else they'll shoot him down. Continue on, and you'll come to a series of green arches - fly through each and every one (and take out the skimming mechs for easy hit+3 bonuses), and assuming you kept Falco alive, he'll lead you to a hidden exit through a waterfall. Continue on to fight the Attack Carrier from the original Star Fox. Otherwise (if Falco got shot down or you didn't go through all the green arches), you'll come to this boss instead.
All-Range Mode
Boss Bonus: Hit+10
Corneria's normal boss is a two-legged running mech who's a cinch to defeat. The key to winning is to fly in close to him and take out one of his legs so he can't run. Once he's immobile, a mere flyby or two of continuous blasting at the power source on his back will put him away for good (don't waste any bombs on him - he's far too easy). If you've got patience, you may want to refrain from killing him right away, as every now and then a power-up will appear between his legs that may be worth picking up (sometimes it's a bomb). Once he's finished, you'll move on to the Meteo Field..
I’m so insulted my nephew just said this looks like Minecraft 😭
That is sad
What?
Not even the graphics looks similar. Minecraft was overhyped and Starfox 64 was a classic.

Correct
Dumb kids i tells ya, its up to you to educate the bastard lol
"I see 'em up ahead! Let's Rock n Roll!"
I still get chills hearing him say that. Best line in videogame history.
Ah, the memories this game brings back. I was eight when it came out, nine when i first played it.
7:11 "All-Range Mode!" My favorite line in the whole game.
It's like "Now-we-gonna-kick-your-ass Mode"...
totally agree
7:11
Anybody else get chills while watching the prologue at 1:50?
Not as much as 3:33-4:28
4:06 Rick May, you will be missed.
Goosebumps, my childhood!
If you are careless, you may fly into Peppy's ship in Corneria in the All-range mode when facing Grange, the boss of Corneria. Peppy quoted, "Watch where you flying!" The best strategy is to take out one of his legs even before Slippy called out, "Enemy shield analyzed", and you can defeat Grange without any problem. It does happen to before, but only once when I was a beginner of playing Star Fox 64 before.
Actually, after listening to it several times in loud volume, I think he said "Good Luck"
3:51 "Check your G-Diffuser system" "Falco here, I'm fine."
6:02 "Something's wrong with the G-Diffuser"
Shut up Falco, you're a terrible pilot! Don't go blaming the G-Diffuser!
Normally hes an Ace Pilot it must be the G-Diffuser.
In one of Starfox Commands Enfings. He actually made it to build up his own Team with him as the Leader.
Actually falco is considered to be better than fox in the Farewell beloved falco manga which is canon to this timeline Fox and Falco get in a Dogfight and Falco wins falco likely just ignored fox asking him to check the G-Diffuser
Love these 1997 graphics, :)
That part where you first see what happened to Corneria city and Falco just says "this is horrible" always makes me sad. Like, even he can't think of something witty to say, it's that bad.
The alternate route I’ll always remember. Ahhh someone wants to play
Gracias por hacerme recordar mi niñes con ese intro 🥺🥺🥺
In order to get a medal in Corneria in Star Fox 64, first save Falco from three enemy fighters that is chasing him after you cross the checkpoint, and fly through all 7 stone arches, there is a better chance to shoot down more enemies for more hit points, if you use charged up lasers to boost the score.
When peppy says do a barrel roll... you fucking do a barrel roll.
DO A BARREL ROLL
Pigma Dengar was diagnosed with Ligma.
Thanks for the upload! The last time I watched anyone play through this game was nearly ten years ago, so these bring back nice memories.
Too many Star Fox 64 videos have stupid commentary. It's much nicer to have it in the video info instead.
@3:30 I remember, I got the expansion pack and this intro blew my mind
8:14
FALCO:
Move it, Fox! He's right behind you!
Might have to re-think my thoughts on N64 since they got the voice from Frontline for Star Fox 64.
This is Detroit, They're called Orders, Maverick

8:37 My Emperor!! I Failed You!!!!!!
Epic game! :)
My childhood was great
Hmm I can see that the remaster on the 3ds misses the mark abit. Cant believe they cut the ship intro sequence from the new game start. And only have it as a cutscene pre menue.
use the boost to get through!
I've always wondered what the music at 1:46 is called.
Search on KHInsider of Zophar for this game's soundtrack.
That's the map's theme.
WOW i cant believe that battle take More Time than just 10 seconds after the arwing scene...o_0
this video is the best
6:18, this is where I came for.

6:19 Do a Barrel Roll!
I keep hearing Dr. Farnsworth from Futurama during the boss battle... Am I crazy?
its going to get a bit chilly
Microsoft SAM goes story teller!
