This technique demonstration will help me with many future designs. I love that you can vary the channel setting pattern and spacing however you may want, and that it can be done with any small stone faceted or not, this technique will be game changing for me! You are the best ever! Excited to implement in some design ideas.
Wow it’s looks so pretty the way it’s came out, I personally wills use it for earring, as first I thought you made an earring because when you turn the last wire back? I said wow it’s looks just like an earring. Honestly pendant and earrings would be so cool!🙋♀️ thank you for sharing these beautiful stones and designs too..
I recently started engaging in my passion, making jewelry, n I watch SO many videos, but I just rewound this for the shear pleasure of watching only (doesn't mean a won't make something like it passing the stacked method (finally something mew!) Thank you and great job, you make it seem so easy! I know better! Lol
@StudioKatahdin i just prefer it, many people find using square wire is much easier. I use 18g and 28g for gems all the way down to .7mm, but my go-to is 3mm
@StudioKatahdin with small cabochons, you just need to have your bottom base wire a little closer together, and your top base wires smooshed further down than normal. It'll take some getting used to but it totally works the same
Under rated channel! How do you not have more subs! I love this. Clear, concise, easy to hear, creative design. 🙏💜 Thank you for sharing your skill. ❤

At what point do we cross the 18 ga to make the channel?
@@pamkriner5945 the very very beginning
Will try!
Please do!
Nice thanks🤩
🥰Thank you too
Thank you, Josh. I love your creativity ❤
at how many inches abouts when you cross the wires before doing channel do we go up?
Do you have any recommendations to source the facets?
Is using round wire instead of square, easier for this channel setting with facets? What about small mm cabochons? Thx, Heidi

@@maxxondesignsthx for the great advice.
Made it look easy, but for us not so easy.
Will this work with flat back stones?
@lynnthomas8848 it absolutely will! You just have to do a bit more tweakin to the channel with each stone
Is this a snail?
@@zyrinaz nope! It could be though if it was flipped sideways
