One reason I was never a fan of this version, was less to do with Scrappy and the shorter episodes but more to do with the fact that their was no mystery, which was one of the best parts of the series.
“Hey, we adjusted our show so it’s shorter mystery’s now, what do you want for the debut?” Random producer: “Shaggy gets probed” Guy from first sentence: “..okay..what then?” “He gets shrunk by a cat man, then technically becomes a wanted fugitive for the rest of the show” RP “..somehow, let’s blame scrappy for that” “Deal”
I swear half of these villains' motivations were just "You mildly annoyed me! I'm going to kill you and your dogs!". Also, Shaggy turns criminal, ya hate to see it.
@ripdalt oh, I also had a quick question involving the Catman and other similar instances. Would shrinking Shaggy count as mutilation? It's an unwanted and potentially hazardous change to the body, even if shrinking doesn't exist in our world.
Its so funny how many times they fight dracula/dracula adjacent vampires in this. The fact that Dracula even showed up in the old west just as an excuse to have the uncle arrest him is hilarious. The shaggy family tree is cursed to deal with evil vampires constantly it seems, lol
Recently, I was watching a lot of Scooby Doo and realized a lot of the time the gang also commits crimes. Assault, breaking abs entering and many more. Love to see a video on that
9:30 I do remember that there's penalties for Interfering with a Parade as well as Unauthorized Entry into a Parade and since he "borrowed" the Instruments 🎺🎷, he's going to get Theft/Property Theft Charges as well so he's going over 20 years here.

I think the reason those scientists sent them to mars was because they seemed to be just fine without any space gear. I think that of scrappy was actually learning from his uncle instead of rushing head, long into danger and that mystery Inc. was a detective agency that were called to solve these mysteries and that scrappy was the intern would be very interesting, especially if each member of the team shows their unique skills while also demonstrating good teamwork
@@ripdalt Actually It mentions following someone or Someones around in public as one of the requirements for this Charge and Boardwalks are definitely public Places.

I blame this series for what happened to Scrappy. Like if they’d kept things like they’d been in the first season a little longer maybe he would have turned out all right, but this mess of a series started him on a path to become the symbol of hated side characters.
I do actually like this series of Scooby after watching so much of the same thing in other Scooby doo episodes it was nice to have some different and short and I like Scrappy he is cute.
