I love this demo, that wild fucking guitar (which brought me here, actually thinking of buying a Destroyer on impulse), and the drenched tone you get, man. It's super nostalgic for me. It reminds me of the old Mel Bay book I learned guitar from when I was 13, where William Bay was playing all these crazy tap and trill leads, and wild pentatonic stuff. Super cool axe! Seen 1 ten yrs ago on ebay for $899 in mint cond. I couldn't afford at the time. Seen one at Guitar centers 2 yrs B4 that for $800 and it was trashed out junk. This axe is on my hit list! I have a Sunburst Destroyer w/set neck & it plays awesome! Oh yeah, don't smack that thing into the wall behind you dude! Thanks for sharing...made my day!

I have the original coveted lawsuit one,actually I have 2 now,1 hacked up into an EVH Shark and the other in perfect condition.I was a ,and still am a big fan of Ibanez ,I have about 30 in my collection,about the same as my custom Jackson's. Anyway,I had one one of these that your playing ,and like the Ace guitars,I can't 3 pick ups,yeah it looks cool ,but when I am playing it gets in my way! So I sold that one,but now l have a tech that knows how to set up a 3 pick up guitar for me! Now I need to buy another. I wish you could have played a isolated track so I could hear the guitar better.Oh well,thanks !
cool guitar i have the DT 155 ( 1983 ) the first production run of the x series 3 pup destroyer you gota love those super 70s .... .but my go to guitar is a ( 1983 ) DT 50 whitch i have tricked out.... kahler trem EMG pups h4 bridge h3 neck . 6 way capasitor selector. 2x dual vol/tone. 2x dpdt switches series cut paralell PS to anyone reading this thinking why did i mess up a perfectly good guitar ...it was a basket case when i got it with shot pups and trying to find v-2 pups is a pain

Cool guitar, Steve Merchant of Stormwitch had precisely that model c. 1985 with the three humbuckers.
