Shane, good video, I got one this week too from Amazon for $35. One thing to note which I didn’t see in the video, is that this will expose its humidity sensor to HomeKit for other automations. And from testing against comparable humidity sensors, seems fairly accurate.

Thanks for the review. Purchased the VOCOlinc flower bud defuser a couple of years ago based on your recommendation and have been very happy with it. I purchased a four pack of Meross plugs but they always seem to lose connection with Apple HomeKit. I think I will be keeping my current diffuser.

I was thinking of this the other day. I have a frankincense burner on a smart outlet. That works well. But I was wanting a diffuser that I could turn on and off but our diffusers all need to be switched on the unit. I might check this out!
Great review! will you introduce more about the voice control? I have a roborock vacuum and paired it with alexa, just love it, but not sure if it works with homekit. Anyway I'm gonna to pick up more smart appliances lol🤣Thanks Shane
Love the thorough review; as always. I will be skipping this one as I am not into the essential oils and it looks to be too fiddly for me. I don't mind the look, but I do like the look of the Vocolinc Flower Bud better as it has a cooler looking light that can actually be seen in a lighted room. If I need a humidifier, I will probably go with the Vocolinc Cool Mist humidifier. But around here (Austin, TX), we get too much humidity except during a few weeks of winter, so this is far down on my priority list.
Can anyone shed any light on why this needs cleanig every few days? It's only water and essential oil and it's not like it's going to 'go off'. I can't see why this is necessary, especially if you use distilled or deionised water. Surely then you'd only need to clean it if you were changing the essential oil, and even then I can't see why it would be totally necessary other than to completely eliminate mixing of scents. 🤔
Hi. I just got a meross oil difusser (mod 150). It shows a humidity sensor in home app. After a few weeks it is stuck in 100%, therefore it won't start difussing. Any thoughts on that? Thank You.

Thanks Ed. I haven’t tested it that close to a wall, but I don’t think it would be an issue. The design also provides some space from the spout (to the wall) so I think it would be fine.
I really love Smart Home device, espcially robot vacuum cleaner, it can save a lot of my time on cleaning my house, with a vacuum cleaner,I have more time on playing games LoL.

Problem with that model of diffuser. Bought 2 different brands of the same style. Both of them clogged up with most of the essential oils. If you want anything from a small to large room look at Blue Hills diffusers. It’s the only diffuser brand that I bought that’s lasted longer than 2-4 months. In fact it’s going on 1.5 years. With bimonthly cleaning.
I have three Meross lights, two desk lights and a light strip and they keep losing their WiFi connection. I even put a desk light three feet from the router and disabled 5Ghz, my iPhone does speedtests of 150 mbit, so not a WiFi issue, does this oil diffuser have the same problem? (All lights have latest firmware according to the Meross app)

Many legit companies sell their products on Amazon. I don't think that's an issue. Meross has been releasing MANY HomeKit products over the past two years. They are a China-based company that sells more budget friendly smart home products.

Pass, non homekit is cheap and i dont see any benefit of having homekit on humidifier. Pressing the switch on button on the device is more convenient after you fill up the water and oil.

They have fixed the promo code. It is working now.
How much difficulty did you have getting it integrated with HomeKit? Did you have to turn off your 5g wifi channel to get it connected?
No issues. I use a combined SSID for my 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. It connected with no issues.

They either licensed the Vocolinc or completely ripped them off, the base is a complete clone, even down to the water cup!
