Thank you very much for this video. I’m getting better and better at being a “tourist” in my own city. Sometimes I’m embarrassed with myself because of how little I’ve taken advantage of living here all my life. I live in the shadow of Dodger Stadium so the Elysian Park loop is my daily walk/run. Can’t wait to venture out to the others on your list. Again, thank you.

I know, right? My wife and I have been taking our daily walks in different neighborhoods in the city and its astounding how many I hadn't seen before. Even with all the problems this city has its still an absolutely beautiful place.

Thanks so much for this list, it was so helpful! I took the hike to the Wisdom Tree and then the back of the Hollywood sign. You are not kidding, it is TOUGH, as it is not only very steep but it’s also very hard to keep your footing on the slippery terrain. But it is so worth it as every step is absolutely spectacular. Thankfully at the end it connects to a paved concrete trail (the normal way people get back to the Hollywood sign) so if you came in an Uber and don’t need to get back to your car, you can take an easier route on the way back down than the way up.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I haven't done it since I filmed it a couple years ago. It kicked my butt but I still think its in my top 3 in LA County. If you haven't done it yet, Trail Canyon Falls in Tijunga is pretty spectacular too.

MOUNTAIN LION attacks are something to worry. THERE HAS BEEN NUMEROUS MOUNTAIN LION attacks in 1970’s & 80’s & 90’s on. Many reporters went UNANNOUNCED & unreported. MISSING ( devour by mountain lion) could have been the SAD & UNSEEN & UNTOLD STORY.

Aren't you afraid to let your dog wander off like that? I'd be terrified if my pup ran into a wild animal. Mainly snakes.

Yeah, yer right... I don't usually have him off leash much but when I'm filming my hands are rather full. A lame excuse for sure but its true. And...we do see our share of snakes on the trail.
