Well, we never thought we'll say this but here it is, the 2021 MotoGP World Champion, Fabio Quartararo's helmet, the Scorpion Eco R1 Air Replica. As usual, the quality exceeds expectation, really well made, good quality helmet.
One can really see that Scorpion had put a lot of thoughts into the helmet features, and overall improve upon what is already a premium quality helmet. For a start, it is even lighter than the previous year's version, from 1280g down to 1250g, yet maintains all the same functionality.

Hi. Can you tell me if the viewing angles have improved ? If the visor is bigger ? I have the old exo r1, bought it about 1-2 years ago and I 'm not impressed with the viewing angles. When tucked in, the top of the visor was in my view, and in city intersections, it's a pain to check left because of the small visor which almost makes you brake your neck checking over the shoulder. But it's still my N1 helmet that I use, and that is because of the speaker holes, which don't get enough credit. They have some snap in tabs, and my packtalk slim speakers fits there perfectly. They've snapped in there equally both left and right, No need for velcro, and the sound is equally both left and right. It's probably even hard to remove the speakers now., because of those tabs that hold the speakers. They've been there for 1-2 years now. On any other helmets I always had issues, where one part is louder than other, or they're not simetrical, or the velcro doesn't hold, etc. Not with this one. And more manufacturing should do the speaker holes like this.

Asian head shape of 55cm wearing Shark D-skwal and Spartan size S is too tight on my head，I need to choose size M，will Scorpion R1 the same???
Usually manufacturers produce their helmets based on the same size measurement guide across the entire range. If M fits you better, then it should apply to other models

We did not weigh the helmet ourselves but according to manufacturer label, it was stated as 1.25kg (or 2.75lbs). It’s still pretty light

Hi how can one tell a fake replica and the original one replica?
The best way to ascertain the originality of the helmet is to find the official importer if possible, from official website, look for your region and see if there’s distributor.
If that’s not available, the next best thing to do is to borrow from someone that you know that has the original helmet and use that as a benchmark to compare quality.
If all else fail, try to get it from popular or reputable online retailer. Hope thAt helps.
