I have a box here with a perfect set of gears here if you fancy a day trip on the ferry to Rosslare sometime. Those gears cost a fortune we paid 300 pounds for that worn gear alone 30 years ago. Nice fresh looking harvester
Thyregod is a Danish product, so the first row of words you see is Danish, then you have English and then German on the right in the parts manual. They are still making new products and part, manuals and stuff like that are still something you can get a hold of. Cheers from Denmark
Well I’ll admit I was slightly disappointed you didn’t have to make something in the workshop to fix it 🤣🤦♂️ If in doubt get the M8 out🤣 if that fails, go for stainless steel 🤦♂️

Glad to hear parts are still available, looking forward to seeing the harvest of the last of the beets.
Your a mighty man Dan a real mr fix it 👍
Great video dan, hope the repair lasts.
Brilliant video well done 👍
Looking forward to the next video! Brilliant video 💪🏻 🏴
Good fix!
Hope the fix has worked, agree better to fix it properly just before next season than spend out at the very tail end of the harvest.
Excellent video as usual Dan
Good to see it working again
M8 shear bolt might have better? It does take quite a lot of stress hope it worked
Hope you didn't get to much damage from storm's

Good video Dan 👍 can I ask why you went for such soft bolts to replace the high tensile pins 🤔 hope it holds till you finish lifting the beet 👍
Because it's what we had in stock

If that M8 I'm guessing 8.8 fails I'd put in a M8 10.9 or 12.9
It’s actually from Denmark🇩🇰😊
enjoyed the video. With your Engineering skills, can't you make the parts required ? or have them made by a local Engineering Shop ?
The pins could be made, not the gears.
The writing is Danish, not dutch. Thyregod machinery manufacturer is danish and they still make beet harvesters :)
That wasn't dutch 😄
