I was actually just wondering about this myself since this is something I've always noticed each year, but even though the Atlantic hurricane season usually lasts between June and November, how come it always seems like we get more hurricanes around late August and early to mid-September for some reason? How come it always seems like September is more of the peak season for hurricanes then?
It means the Serengeti plains of Africa will be transitioning from its full rainy season to in November to May the dry season. September is the peak of time of plenty for all the wildlife to replenish. On the flip side these rain squalls leave the coast of Africa to open waters and try to close circulation of intensification and hold the rest of us hostage with the destruction they can bring. We need the rain, we don't need a Cat 1-5 hurricane costing billions in damage or human deaths.
@@billyhndrsn4542 I see then, but I was just wondering anyway though since it always seems like September is when we usually get most of the hurricane activity during hurricane season.
@@pepsidude8919 September is peak rainy season along the equator of the squalls moving from East to West in Africa, but then they leave the continent into open waters with all the moisture they feed on and get ramped up. In my opinion, we send planes above to monitor to see if developing circulation, if it trying to ramp we should be proactive to prevent circulation. We all need the rain, but we dont need destructive hurricanes. It is 2024.
@@billyhndrsn4542 Okay then and thanks for letting me know too. I also agree about us needing the rain even though we don't need the destructive hurricane which I don't really like anyway.
@@pepsidude8919 my opinion, they are flying planes above it to monitor the system, why cant they be proactive and drop timed bombs ( strong but conventional type) in the N S W E of it simultaneously to keep it broke up to be just a tropical wave with beneficial rains. Just me I guess.
Not sure what part of FL you’re in, but if the models are correct (still early) it look like the steering has it going along the coast line with just a lot of rain. I think you’ll be okay. 👍🏻
I have some questions here to ask in case if anyone would happen to possibly know the answers to them even though this might seem off-topic and all, but I was just wondering anyway: 1. My e-mail account hasn't been hacked or anything, but a while back I noticed that my e-mail account/address has started receiving various spam e-mails and this has been an ongoing problem for me since this has been happening almost every day for the past several months. What exactly causes this to happen? 2. I might have also accidentally responded to a spam e-mail or two from before even though I didn't mean to do so, and it seems like ever since then, my e-mail account has just been receiving even more spam mail that way. What exactly causes that to happen too and why? 3. If you open and/or interact with spam e-mails in any way, how exactly do the scammers themselves know if you responded to their e-mails like that? 4. Is there also some possible way to completely stop the spam mail altogether or not? I've been reporting the e-mails, deleting them, blocking them, and even blocking the e-mail addresses and domains where the e-mails have been coming from, but it seems like no matter what I've been trying to do, nothing seems to be stopping it so far and I sometimes even receive some spam e-mails somehow from certain senders even though I already have their e-mail addresses blocked although they shouldn't be going through to me if I already have them blocked. I just thought of asking these questions though in case if anyone knows the answers to them and I know this is kind of off-topic and all, but this is just something that I've been having to deal with now for quite some time and it's just really aggravating too although I wish it would somehow stop. I just want to know why and how this sort of thing happens, and also if there's a way to possibly stop it somehow.
I’m just east of Houston, so I appreciate you and Mike!

Does not look good with most of the clouds on the south side of this storm making it keep its southern track?

Do we know where it is going to make landfall
Nobody will know that answer exactly until about 10-5 hours before it happens.
