re: water temperature. My Austrian sister-in-law, often complained that US washers did not actually BOIL the clothes as the ones in Europe. She swore her clothes were cleaner with no damage. Also, you can't buy chlorine bleach in Europe. Maybe they don't need it at boiling temperatures. The EPA in the US should get out of appliance regulation IMO. The electro-mechanical operation is superior to the all-electronic operation of almost all other machines, and lasts longer with fewer problems, I've read. Great review, with detailed explanations. Can you show us where the water pump for this machine is also there's a little magnetic nub that you can pull out so the door can remain slightly open to vent but the magnet holds it in place to not let the door swing open
I bought one of these, seems to work well. Only issue was that when you reverse the door the latch doesn't line up very well. I found group posts with a similar complaint.

It sounds perfect to me, you can try to get a free EQ for your system that normalizes volume level for you to bring too low and loud audio to about the same comfortable level.
I just bought the elf7537 because the elfw7637 is all electronic. the elf7537 is electro-mechanical. Manufacturers went to led/electronic because it is cheaper to make, but the electro-mechanical is much more reliable and durable.
Our Electrolux washer does not have an easily accessible way to clean that filter! It is a BIG draw back. We would have to pay to have a tech come and actually partially dismantle the washer to get inside to get to the filter. Very poor design! Other than that I love the washer.
Using high temperatures or loading the drum more than half might affect wrinkles. Also if you leave the clothes too long inside this also increases the wrinkles

Before install, you will need at least 2 to 3 inches clearance on the back.
