Scott Storch honestly doesnt get the recognition he deserves. He has an insane library of production credits, and was a major support to Dre and Timbaland throughout the 2000s. He created so many iconic melodies like Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River” and even made the piano chord progression for “Still D.R.E.”. I don’t know the whole story but he filed for bankruptcy in 2015 which is crazy considering he was worth close to $100 million. He should at least be in consideration for a bottom spot in any top 5 producer conversation in my opinion. Very very few people are as prolific or have heavily influenced the sound both pop and hip hop like he has
This just proves that Mariah was successfully able to transform her sound with the new era and did it so profoundly that she was able to have whole new generations admire her just like previous generations. Phenomenal.
This song has been out for almost 2 decades and its better than any new mainstream rap we hear on the radio nowadays! Scott Storch, Jadakiss and Mariah on the track were absolute 🔥🔥

I don't care what anybody says. 2002-2004 was a great time for Mariah's music. This period of time is so underrated! And plus, her style was fucking FIRE!!
The beat is hypnotic as hell & the beautiful icon that is Mariah Carey looks absolutely drop dead gorgeous in this grimey visual. Love her fine self. Plus I love it when she was playfully mimicking Jadakiss' hit "We Gon' Make It" released three years prior to this 2004 banger.
Jadakiss remains one of my all time favourite rappers. The guy talks straight sense on all songs. He always has at least one of those real-life elderly advice./knowledge in between his lines.

don't forget about breakdown w/ bone thugs and bone thugs was also part of the remix Don’t Forget About Us with juelz santana and they also played the remix of always be my baby with da brat on the radio
Man, hip-hop really ain't good like it used to be. These kids now don't even know rappers used to actually make songs about love and being in an actual relationship from time to time. No more now.
rappers then took hip hop seriously and brought what hip hop fans wanted, music that makes you wiser and enjoy , today's music makes people stupid and makes them more aggressive than people were before almost every video i see lot of guns or lot of lean and weird clothing style but that's how i see it everyone has a different opinion about it
Are you kidding? he was one of the most sought out producers in the 2000s. All producers have their peak years. I just feel he hasn't been relevant the past decade.
@Orion Jean never said his career was over. He just doesnt have the same popularity as he did in the 2000s which is probably why the op thinks he doesnt get his credit. But during the 2000s he was extremely popular and he was given his props then.
lol that's what most people good looking girls do. They hangout with less attractive people to stand out. Because if they don't they would have a problem. In the long run it somewhat affects them. Because then when they run into a good looking guy they want to try and make him beg. Or it would get competitive.
+BRIAN TICAS good looking girls want friends too, if "uglier" people want to isolate them because they're "jealous" that shows how superficial THEY are

One of the best songs of this era of music. Mariahs powerful vocals, Jada's incredible flow and Scott Storch's unique beat. Truly fantastic track.
