That was in my opinion quite a waste of engineering. Have a look around youtube för "bale accumulator" or "bale sledge". Automatic and in case of the Kuhn accumulator totally mechanical. Should have been possible to construct something like that instead.
Lavoriamo con 2 trattori, uno raduna il fieno non in antane separate ma in un prato il trattore gira attorno al prato e l'altro con imballatrice segue imballando finché abbiamo finito, siccome i prati sono abbastanza ripidi e irregolari, prima le balle a volte rotolavano e andavano sul fieno da radunare, quindi bisognava scendere dal trattore e spostarle, ora almeno per 8 balle sto tranquillo, poi faccio mucchi coperti e passo a prenderle quando ho tempo, mentre prima se pioveva si bagnavano.
Completely useless. I thought it dumped somehow once it was full. After seeing them have to drag the bales out of it, the complete waste of time and material became glaringly apparent. And the negative tongue weight would make it very dangerous on hills. I thought I was missing something as I watched the video, waiting for something good to happen. I wasn't, and it didn't.

Questa attrezzatura va vista nel sistema che uso io e nei prati piccoli e pendenti in montagna in cui la uso. Io e mio fratello usiamo 2 trattori, uno raduna il fieno e l'altro lo segue ed imballa, siccome l'imballatrice è vecchia e non raccoglie bene il fieno usando questo sistema si arriva alla fine del prato raccogliendo tutto il fieno, poi prima le balle cadevano dell'imballatrice ed a volte rotolavano nel fieno, quindi quando passava il trattore aveva problemi, quando mi giravo alla fine del prato quasi sempre ne investivo andando indietro, poi così quando scarico la ruota le metto tutte vicine così posso coprirle e se piove non si bagnano e non serve che vada subito a prenderle.

all that design and engineering to hold the bales and that poor guy has walk the whole field to feed the machine by hand...sheeeeesh

hmmm...alot of work went into that revolver type setup. wouldn't a little accumulator cart been easier? it'd then tip up and auto unload.

Quelli che pensano che non serva a niente e' perche' non han no mai lavorato in montagna. In piano son buoni tutti.
Io ho lavorato sia in montagna che in pianura e stai tranquillo che in montagna è miglio tirare un po i fili e rotolare

Non vedo alcun vantaggio,anzi molto macchinoso , ingombrante ed inutile...c'è ne sono di più semplici ed efficaci...
