    I love the system that can detect you walking into the room.

    Can the M-touch tablet device be used wirelessly? I'd like to keep the system as wire free as possible.

    Great stuff!! Can the room kit auto answer a Teams call without user intervention? and/or is there software available to "remot" answer the unit?

    Hello, how are you? I need to know if it is possible to change the background image for a personalized one on the background screen?

    Key question, on the meeting room machine which is running Windows 10 Enterprise IoT, can you install other applications on it and configure screensavers that can be prioritised over the Teams app? It's nice that you can customise the theme to your branding, but in our current setup our meeting room screen runs a branded video screensaver whenever the machine is idle. Just want to know how locked down or customisable this thing is.

    Got this system, or at least the MVC320 version (same machine and touch panel) and we're having untold problems with it! Yealink are very unhelpful too, sending over system images that just do not get the touch screen to work.

    Is it possible to connect the wireless mics directly to the mini pc? or any windows pc for that matter? I'd like to connect a CPW900 to the NUC in my logitech tap teams room. Do the mute buttons on the mics mute the teams application when pressed or just the mic itself?

    Hello. How do you switch off the wireless mics after usage

    Did you recommend Yealink MVC800 vs the Logitech Rally Plus? We are in doubt between both.

    • @ExpertOfThings
      @ExpertOfThings  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm really in the habit of recommending one over the other - both great products and solutions. I would say it all gets narrowed down to: 1) Features & Specs, 2) Cost, and 3) Aesthetics.

    can the MVC800 to AV Passthrough like the Logitech and Crestron units? eg. Yeaklink Teams Room mic/speaker/camera hardware can be used for Zoom on a laptop when in presentation mode via USB and HDMI cable?

    • @ExpertOfThings
      @ExpertOfThings  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. Unfortunately, I am not sure about that one, and no longer have the unit. I'd recommend checking with Yealink on that.

      @@ExpertOfThings thanks Josh, just heard from Yeaklink overnight, looks like its coming in Q2 this year - they call it BYOD mode instead of AV Passthrough

    did you use a O365 user account to sign into Teams Room device or there is a type of Teams account specific to Teams Room?

    • @ExpertOfThings
      @ExpertOfThings  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You CAN use a regular O365 account, but there is actually a "Room Account" that can be created for scheduling purposes, with more appropriate licensing: th-cam.com/video/ew18fEerUOw/w-d-xo.html

    If a remote user joined a Teams meeting and they shared content, would the content be displayed via MTouch system, or would you need to connect a PC via HDMI to display the content being shared?

    • @ExpertOfThings
      @ExpertOfThings  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A remote user's screen share would be displayed on the display of the MTR. There would be no need to have a laptop connected in-room, unless the person in the room wanted to present.

    does the camera have Auto-Frame feature?

    • @ExpertOfThings
      @ExpertOfThings  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, the MVC800 does not have Auto Framing, but Yealink indicates that the camera on the MVC300 does: www.yealink.com/product/microsoft-teams-room-system-mvc800
