Good video Jeengar. I just don't understand how you can have 24k subscribers and less than 50 likes on the video... mind boggling.
My youngest is getting back into War Thunder at Rank II and has made the switch from Arcade to Realistic, and he's already a better combat pilot after 2 days than I am after 7+ years. He's a fantastic shot. So now he's scoping out and test flying jets, and he really likes the feel of the A-4 and really wants it... but hes a long way off from getting it.
Personally, I've always liked the look of the A-4 since I had a little metal toy of it as a kid. As a teen I built a 1:72 scale model of the humpbacked A-4M, and loved them in Top Gun. This has definitely been one Yank plane I've acually wanted to have and fly, and now I'm using the A-4E squadron version!

I always loved the Skyhawk platafrom, my only issue was the guns, the 20mms on the A-4B were very awkward to use and dealt little damage, on top of that ammo count wasn't great so all of that made me usually bring the gunpod which slowed me down. The israeli A-4s fix this, and they've made the A-4 a dream to fly, I'm really looking forward to the A-4N

I have huge respect for people who can use the Skyhawk mainly as a fighter. I only have the US A-4E Early, assuming the Skyhawk airframes perform similarly, the fact you lose speed quickly in a turn is one thing I still can't get used to, after mainly flying the MiG jets. Well, at least it doesn't start spinning the moment something touched your wings...
roger that, there is downsides. But its solid overall.
Seriously it doesn't fit me at all... in my ranking is the worse plane in the game...by far. It's the first plane i say i can't do a thing.

I recently spaded the A-4B in the American line and man did I have fun! I used it strictly as fighter the entire time and ended up with a pretty good kill to death ratio

which tech tree's F-4? ;) this might take a while. Im bound to the choices of the viewers. Rank V soviets, then brits. Rank VI israel somewhere in between.
@@jengar6258 The Israeli F-4, it's the same as the F-4E on the american tree though I believe. We just gotta wait until it's the upgraded Israeli one

Hey, nice video! Curious about the reasoning of having IAS and SPD indicators both up.
Many players use it, its just a better measure of speed imo
Better for climb speed
IAS also gives you better indication on higher alt to how close you are to stall.
@@jengar6258 yea that's what I had assumed, just haven't seen both used at the same time. Kinda seemed redundant.

Not an expert on jets, but what is the difference (other than appearance) of an after burner and 100% throttle? Is it just WEP for jets? Thanks
Depending on the afterburner it can be quite a bit of difference. It will increase the thrust by 50%++ or 100%++ on some jets (2 stage afterburners can be extremely powerful). In simple words you can say that Afterburner = WEP on steroids

I dont have any Israeli aircraft but It seems to be just like the american one. Maybe the difference are only on the guns.
