That's a great garage. The hoist was cheaper than I expected and thanks for sharing the workings of it. Always been curious about the safety aspects. Looking forward to even greater episodes in the garage!
79 year o9ld ex donnington gt champion . just given myself a long overdue treat a Twin Busch 242 A car lift . the basic model with cable release for the locking featire .. also my lift did not come with any cable ramp secturing or the ince looking covers for the upright cables.
Hi mate, great content, been watching your channel for a while. I'm currently looking into buying one of these lifts, can you tell me a bit more about the quality and if you're still content with it? Cheers
Nice work man! Curious as to whether you increased the slab depth where the lift is bolted? Been here since your Porsche! keep it up! you definitely look happier :)
I have just installed a very similar lift Atlas ATP9, but can't get motor to run, presumably a wiring error. Did you get any wiring instructions with yours? Thanks
Hi mate I'm sorry if this sound condescending because I don't mean it to be. I have been doing a lot of research into the lifts since I seen your video first (and I still come back to watch it over and over 😂) but I think the model you have is the 236 PE, the same one I want to get. Or maybe they changed the model numbers since you made your video. Either way how happy are you with it and would you recommend it ?
Well done Neal. Congrats mate. Very excited to see the project coming along so well. This lift will make working on your projects a simple affair.

That is a nice bit of kit , just wish my garage was big enough for one , the days of crawling around under cars are over for you ! great video
Amazing! This is the dream right here. Hope I can do this one day too. Working on my cars outside in the Scottish weather isn't great 😂
I'd love a garage exactly like this at my house in the UK.😎
gary will be visiting more often now. looks a great bit of kit and that plug on the lift will be very handy.
Quite possibly the best video ever.
Wow the outside shot looks so nice.

Yes yes yes. So much inspiration here it's incredible
Best of luck to you Dude.... Can't wait to see more vids.
Thanks mate. Yes, more to follow!
Very nice, look forward to seeing what you can do with it. How much headroom is there above the lift?
Thanks. 2 metres.
@@RoadandRacetv Great stuff. No worries about clearance when lifting to full height then!

Serious home garage envy 😍
Apologies, the lift is actually a 236PE not a 242E as stated in the video. The 236PE currently costs £1799 inc VAT.
Superb work. 4t lift. Good call. Future proofing for battery powered behemoths 😁
Nice work man! Curious as to whether you increased the slab depth where the lift is bolted?
Been here since your Porsche! keep it up! you definitely look happier :)
Thanks. Yes its 300mm deep under the lift.
Thought you’d have shown how to you it? Looks fab Neil, nice job.
Thanks mate. Maybe in a future video.
Not a bad price for such a good piece of kit. I thought they were much more expensive.
I have just installed a very similar lift Atlas ATP9, but can't get motor to run, presumably a wiring error. Did you get any wiring instructions with yours? Thanks
I've missed loads! Wow that's well cheap! Will make its money back after just two MOTS aha

Looks very smart and solid but of kit. Enjoy 👍🏽
Why so long in between your videos? Please post more often. 👍
Lovely Jubbly, in my dreams, I wish.
Great video. Liked & subscribed.
The lift looks great value for the 💰 money... even Scotty Kilmer doesn’t have a lift 🤣
Did the price include the cost of installation?
Hi sir car Parking Lift safty divice single pair how mouch price?
Just looked up the same lift, cant see the 'quick release' or ,mains plug on web site which is a shame
I have very similar lift, difrent brand name but its all china special -they work ok just remember to lubricate the slides inside
Oh how I’ve dreamt of a hoist in my garage... wait a minute, oh how I’ve dreamt of having a garage...
Do you even lift, bruh?
Neil: Yes. Yes I do!
Was that a Spyder or Spider?
I see what you did there 👍🏻
Nice lift... does the £1549 price include the VAT & installation?
Includes VAT. Fitting was £600
@@RoadandRacetv fantastic job
May I ask where it was bought from?
Thank you
Can't even get my car in my integral garage in the UK well may be just but can't open the doors!
Epic :)
Congrats Neil, you must be chuffed. Apologies if you've covered this in a previous episode, but who did the epoxy floor?
Thanks. Yes, it's in the previous video, but i did it.
@@RoadandRacetv I'll watch it now. Well done, looks great. Fancy doing mine?
Well, I do have very reasonable rates...
What was that bottle of oil-looking stuff for?
Hydronic fluid for the lift
Hi mate who’s supplied and fitted the ramp
It’s was done by Twin Busch
Was that £1500 fitted mate
No, fitting is an extra £600
Did the installer torque the anchors to spec?
Yes he did
Where / how did you purchase this mate. I'd love to get one myself
Got it from twinbusch.co.uk
@@RoadandRacetv awesome thanks mate. Love the content BTW 👍🏻
Thanks Matt
Where's the stripper pole
very nice
Did you need to get 400v 3 phase fed in? Or is this 230v?
230v single phase
@@RoadandRacetv awesome mate this is definitely going to be an addition to my next house
Is the garage custom designed
It's customised by me. I go through the whole process in episode 4 of this series i think.
Road and Race thank you
Is that 1500 installed?
1500?
@@RoadandRacetv £1500, £1549 if we're counting loose change!
No, install was an extra £600.
@@RoadandRacetv i still think 2100 installed is a great price for a lift that good . Looks brilliant!!!
I take it you have to get planning permission to build a garage like this?
Yes. Check out episode two in this series for more on that.
I would have gone for a more robust wall finish considering what the building is for. I bet within a year something goes through the plasterboard.
I brought a scissor lift...... and now I know I dropped a clanger 🙈
Bet you are buzzing about your car lift makes doing jobs a lot easier
Yes, very excited!
This is not in the spirit of UK diy culture. It’s all about crawling under your car in all weathers and dodging the rain showers. Lol
Lol, I’ve had enough of that!
'inshulation'? 🤣
get brexit done should of bort an english lift
