One way I heard it put is that "They have a poor sense of priorities". I believe this behavior is what is modeled to our children. When a man doesn't honor his vows and the promises he made to love, honor, and cherish his wife, the child sees the behavior where the spouse is not the priority. And I believe this models to the son or daughter that the family is not the priority. What I've seen is that the old family is the priority. Old obligations that weren't resolved. A door mat is what you can become over time. 23 years free from that disrespect and still tries to be one up. Unbelievable.

Agree. ‘Love’ is proven by actions. But everything always seems so wrong. Apart from their suductive hoovering words .. but rest of the time… something feels missing. What u say is 💯 correct. Most selfish people I have ever known. Plus they have a real
Prob with object permanence .. out of sight out of mind.. for everyone. They don’t care if they hurt people. Their faves are blank when you tell them this. If u talk about ££ and prestige… their eyes light up..
