I searched for the term and got this video which was uploaded 2 days before. Quality content and I am sure the channel's growth must be going great. And there must be many positive comments like mine. These are great videos. Keep growing‼️
Beother ur channel, videos and quality of ur content is so underrated. Ur doing an absolutely amazing job. Hats off to you. 🙌👏 Love from all barefoot footwear users. ❤️
I was using Decathlon aquashoes. they cost about same as impakto but may feel like andune. However lasted only 6 months. Another thing I tried was removing insoles from cheap Sparx sneakers and bata power lionel shoes. Bata power Lionel feel great for outdoor trails but don't have wide toe box. also used cheap no tie laces for both.
@@drrohanfonseca Yes. But for 6 months i used them everywhere. I just wanted to check if barefoot suits me or not. Great video. I was looking for video like these and there were none. I ordered impakto.
@@drrohanfonsecaI scoured internet for good barefoot options and tried some DIY. I found a rip off of luna mono wings. Canyon sandals from Pune. I was contemplating between andune and canyon sandals since they cost the same. But then you showed me impakto and saved my money. Would like to see that comparison.
Hi! I was looking for gym/training shoes that can maintain balance. I checked out Nike, Adidas, and Decathlon, but you just saved me a lot of money and time. First of all, I have no idea how I stumbled upon your wonderful and informative channel. After reading all the comments, I agree with everyone: your channel is underrated, but we all believe you’ll grow sooner than soon. Cheers to you! The quality of your content is commendable. I do need a bit of help. As the video suggests, the ‘Impakto’ shoes have slight cushioning, and the ‘Andune’ shoes are almost true to the feet. I need your opinion on this transition: should I start with Impakto for gym shoes and for everyday home wear and later switch to Andune after considerable usage? Or should I just go for Andune right away? (Best wishes to you, your channel)
Thank you for the kind words. I'd suggest the Impaktos, as it a first time purchase for these type of shoes. They are much cheaper and if you don't like them, they aren't going to burn a hole in your pocket.
Just discovered your channel today, so grateful for the information you give on everything. Have been looking for a wide toe box, barefoot shoe and came across your review. Will go with Andune. Hopefully I get my size online. Thank you. keep making awesome content.
I'd suggest a pair of skechers walking shoes. These barefoot shoes are an acquired taste. You could look to pick the cheaper Impakto as well. And wear them occasioanlly to try them. The last thing you'd want is painful feet(if you are currently not used to walking barefoot most of the time), once you get home.
That's a great question. The imapktos tend to smell more as they have more fabric. I experienced this after they were totally soaked during the monsoon. Just take out the insoles and check them and the shoes into the washing machine for a light rinse. They come out as good as new. No need of wearing socks.
For a treadmill i'd suggest regular running shoes as contrary to popular belief the treadmill gives quite an unatural impact on the foot. If you are used the running barefoot on tarmac pick the andunes. The impactos are more of a gym shoe. For me personally the impakto is a everyday wear shoe.
Hi brother! I got a question. Have you ever experienced stress fractures cuz of running with these shoes?? Am thinking of buying a barefoot shoe for weight training. However, I also want to run on uneven surfaces with these shoes. Would these shoes be safe??
Dont consider these as running shoes if you are not used to running in barefoots. I myself use them very occasionally for running and that too for upto 5k distance. These are my daily drivers though for work and walking around. For the gym they are a great option. Infact i have just ordered another pair of Impaktos just for the gym.
@drrohanfonseca No, sir. After careful searching, I found Altra, but they are very expensive in India. I also have wider feet and a mild flat foot. The next level of difficulty I am currently facing is that my budget is limited to 4,000. Would you kindly recommend some to me?
Hi i would like to know if these shoes are for badminton?. I want to buy one for badminton and want a simple ones. No marking shoes are compulsory so checking if these are of type no marking.
Hi, Just saw your video. It's very informative. Need to know if these shoes are made for heavy Walker or joggers or cycling ? Daily 10k steps Please reply
Have you run barefoot before? Incase you haven't i'd advise to by a pair to just get a feel if you can manage it. Just for the experience i'd suggest the imapkto since it is cheaper.
Anyone thinking to buy impakto shoes ,plz Don't!!!! I have bought both and ajanta company has just used the word barefoot shoe as marketing gimmick nothing else!! It only has wide toe box & zero heel drop features of barefoot shoe! It is not a barefoot shoe as it has a foamy & thick sole, a false instep and a toe spring . Also is hardly even close to being flexible. The company is just fooling people by marketing a lightweight shoe as a barefoot shoe!!! Shame on them ! I am feeling like my 900 rs got stolen!
I have flat foot/ fallen arch. So false instep doesn't seem good. Toe spring is annoying. I thought I found the budget edition but your comment makes me have second thoughts.
Yes you are right! It is not a true barefoot shoe, but good enough for some use case scenarios. I personally use it as an everyday shoe(rotate it with the andunes). But is also quite useful for a lifting session without breaking the bank. Pardon my ignorance but whats a false instep?
@@drrohanfonseca I googled it and it said arch support already present in the shoe. This makes us not use our natural arch. But as someone with flat foot, do you think it would help me?
The impakto doesn't have arch support as such. It just has a spongy insole. There 2 schools of thought with flat feet. Provide as much support so that pain is minimized. I on the other am more inclined to using barefoot shoes for flat feet . When flat feet rest on the ground the toes tend to be end up a lot wider which barefoot shoes help accommodate. Also barefoot shoes will help develop those muscles in the foot and perhaps help you in the long term. Do try them out for a couple of months of casual use. In the first few days however you are bound to have a liottle discomfort.
My ankle keeps rolling. I used to wear a pair of Puma shoes called St Marten which they dont manufacture anymore. Only now I realized they are called barefoot shoes. Thanks for the video. by the way which model of the shoes is the Andune?
Puma still has these in their line up and quite cheap. They are called ST runners. Andunes are actualy quite nice barefoot shoes. I personally do not use them for regular runs, just occasionally. I limit myself to 5k or 10k. But in India they are a lil bit overpriced for what they offer versus what the other Indian brand.
@@drrohanfonseca Thanks so much. Wonder if I should rather buy the minimalistic shoes. Recently I fractured my ankle wearing memory foam orthopedic slippers. I was so out of balance, I need something to feel like my own feet. I cannot adjust to heels at all.
I'd prefer you'd wear motion control shoes. These are generally used by over pronators. There is a link in the description to the exact Andunes i wear.
FucKKKKKKKKKKKKK i already ordered the impakto ones, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have used andune ones (the same color and type ones u have) for 2 years, still they are in very good condition ,no wear & tear .... ordered them because of the cheap price! but maybe can still cancel the order? anyways can u plz suggest me i need another barefoot shoes to wear at home because of cold floor as the socks still do not make me feel comforted against the cold floor and make me use slippers (the worst footwear!!)? so should i buy these impakto ones for that purpose? or do u have any idea/suggestion /product as any other solution to my problem like maybe socks which are extremely thick just on the sole area?by the way , how do u walk in your home in winters?
I'd say stick with the order. The price is hard to beat. The elastic on the upper is going to be irritating but after around 3 uses it got quite a bit looser. For the socks, as far as i know you get football socks with grip underfoot, but unsure if they are available in India. Either ways they will cost as much as the andunes.

Not advisable unless you have been running barefoot for sometime.

There are two models in impakto 1). Barefoot shoes
2).Barefoot rooted gym shoes which to buy ?
Pick the barefoot ones. They are slightly cheaper as well at Rs.899. Have been using these for my daily wear.
@@drrohanfonseca 👍
I would recommend Barefoot rooted gym shoes since you can tighten the she near the heel as i found normal version to be bit loose near heel area.

Its better to get indoor court shoes that are quite cheap. These would be too grippy for the court.
