I received one a couple of weeks ago, Red because it is faster :-) Only just had chance to play with it. Using a Tank Whip, 9 foot long. Very impressed. takes a bit of getting used to where to place the slider, not gone as far as marking it yet though. Thank you very much for a good product, just going to see if I can make up my own ground mount kit from my bits n bobs box.
We don't recommend the MFJ1979 It puts too much wind loading on the coil. Our 9.35ft 7 section Military shock cord whip is better suited to the coil & in our testing performed equally as good if not better.
This coil looks interesting to be sure. I am currently using a couple of Ampros for 20 and 40 which seem to work okay. It would be nice to get many more bands without the need to unscrew one antenna and replace it with another. What method is used to mark the coil for the different bands?

Beautiful Slidewinder Coil. My Friend A92GW uses this one with a MFJ1979 long telescopic antenna and he is loud as hell with his portable setup.

Anything that encourages /p has to be good. Having a decent antenna/aerial helps, specially if it’s made in the U.K. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
