In honesty both sims are great, i played them and from what i can get is that Infinite Flight Simulator is mainly geared to fun yet educational but mainly a game to break from the normal “realistic” stuff. X-Plane on the other hand is mainly geared to educational and learning the instruments, Avionics, etc for student pilots or civilian people who are interested in aviation to get a more hands on experience. I may be wong whatever but thats my personal opinion and what i can get from playing the both.
Same. To add on, I agree with IF being fun. That's why it has so many starting planes. So you can pay 5 bucks and get a 747, a380, f18, spitfire etc. Meanwhile xplane has only 2 because its geared more towards what a ppl would fly. The 172 is so interactive because that's what a average pilot flies. Same with the 737. But the other planes suck.

Infinite Flight isn’t a flight simulator. It doesn’t simulate flight nor does it simulate any sort of physics. Please learn what physics are before you talk.

well...then maybe first get some information before you state your opinion. x plane is calculating in real time how the airflow creates lift over the aircraft body and how much at every point...I don't think IF is even capable of doing that...IF is for little kids who don't know how to spend their money and X-Plane (Desktop version) is for people who really want to simulate flying. And as a real life pilot with 160 hours on single engine aircraft I can also assure you that the planes in x-plane behave much more realistic than in any other flight simulator.
I used to play other flight sims on my phone but after playing infinite flight with other players you will love it. I only play online. It makes it feel more realistic. The other sims seem so boring because it doesn’t have live multiplayer.
I have both. IF is better when it comes to scenery and freedom. Xplane is better for real control practice, depending on the craft. I think if I had to choose, I would keep IF. It comes with way more planes, which is another added bonus
I have to say X-Plane is better because I can fully go through the the start up procedure with a Boeing 737, McDonnell Douglas MD-80, Cessna 172, CirrusJet SF50, Douglas DC-3, Beechcraft Baron B58 and Beechcraft King Air C90. That is surely a lot of planes that you can do a cold start. I personally don't like the 747 either but if you had the 737. You'd be pleased.
Really? I spent 5 bucks on the md80 and all I got was a lousy cockpit with two dials, and no controls. And it was official xplane 10. I feel that IF put more effort into all the planes equally. Sure its not 100%, but I'm not a pilot either, so IF wins.

Nope. Only the first two planes. I bought the md80 thinking I would get realism, couldn't even program the flaps button, and my plane was up in the air at 50knts. Sorry, but the big jets go to IF
I play flight simulator X on PC. It literally has everything. The graphics kick ass, but only if you have a huge ram and graphic card. Cockpit is very realistic, sounds are very realistic, physics is very accurate. It also has a multiplayer where you can be the ATC too. I never successfully played on multiplayer tho and I have no idea what's the problem. It has some missions, other than that it has a global, you can spawn in any city and fly to wherever you want. From the largest airports to the smallest strips, you can spawn anywhere. But in my version there are very limited planes. New planes might be added using mods I don't know.

X plane 10 is the best as multi player is free and the live interactive cockpits that you can't find in different games and the graphics and plane functions (flaps and stuff) are the best. Also on x plane u can see the inside from the outside all the detail and stuff
If you have x-plane and you want to buy some good planes, buy the 737-800, king air c90, MD-80, Baron B58, or the Sikorsky S76 (that one is a helicopter) those are the best planes in the game :)
On X-Plane I always take the SF50 on the HAWAII map to make the Route PHNL-PHHN. The very first airport to the very last airport. Which is 20mins !! I make 1h20 sessions per 2days. So 2 go&back. Which I love seen that I wznt to be a pilot.
TBH I'm a MS Flight Sim X fan myself....BUT.... I've tried both Infinite Flight on my tablet and X plane on my PC. I appreciate the flight realism in X Plane. The 747 and big birds feel heavy. Scenery is much better. There's another flight sim online that I have tried a few years ago. GEOFS, which when they were running the Google Earth API was simply amazing. But I haven't tried in for a while.
X-Plane 10 is perfect but I agree. That they got small maps. But if they would make it to where it’s like google earth flight, where you can fly ANYWHERE, it would go through the roofs.
I got xplane 11 on my computer for 60 dollars. You can download the whole world if you want to and the graphics are very good. No monthly payents or anything. Just 60 dollars and you can fly all over the world

I like both. Xp10 is much cheaper(it's not free if you want some other planes) but IF it's got a lot of planes and liveries and it may be cooler, but because you have only a little variety of controls and it's monthly subscription... IDK

Honestly it’s was obvious that if would do better only because you pay five dollars for it this means the developers will get more money for upkeep and things like that. But I think if made a really big mistake for making all the non free planes only available if you have multiplayer like I’m not going to pay ten bucks for a plane that used to cost five.

I pick Infinite flight for its Accurate plane model, also for it's smooth plane graphics. ( YEAH I KNOW THE TEXTURE OF THE THE LAND LOOKS TERRIBLE, ) Also it's physics are more realistic (At the plane's weight, handing and etc.) May have no any working cockpits, but still it has some power to fight against X-Plane. X-plane(the app) is just a preview to what the actual simulator is. The actual simulator on the computer. And at least x-plane has moving DU’s

Honestly it’s was obvious that if would do better only because you pay five dollars for it this means the developers will get more money for upkeep and things like that. But I think if made a really big mistake for making all the non free planes only available if you have multiplayer like I’m not going to pay ten bucks for a plane that used to cost five.

Xplane 10 mobile editions best planes(if you want the whole cockpit working)are the boeing 737 and the md80 all the rest don't have that functional cockpits
The 747 has since been updated and now just about all cockpit controls, buttons, switches, etc work
I pick Infinite flight for its Accurate plane model, also for it's smooth plane graphics. ( YEAH I KNOW THE TEXTURE OF THE THE LAND LOOKS TERRIBLE, ) Also it's physics are more realistic (At the plane's weight, handing and etc.) May have no any working cockpits, but still it has some power to fight against X-Plane. I know Swiss cheese001 loves Infinite flight more, because he is using this ALWAYS
