Sienna this will definitely help you develop muscle for bars & beam!!! Think about flagging as using your foot to orient yourself on beam. Use your core for heel hook, dynamic & campusing. Also, think of dynamic & campusing as a bar release & catch! When I was your age I found tasks much easier to understand when they were related to gymnastics 💜 always remember the most important thing is to have a spotter until you master a skill!!

For Mia I am a climber I have been climbing for years and some tips for a dyno are always keep your eyes on the hold and spread your Hands out so you have a larger surface area and just send it don’t change your mind halfway through doing it if you go for it keep going. Hope this helped x

OMG!! Last night I was literally watching the abc morning routine where for c you did climbing and I was like I would love if they posted a video where it was a climbing completion for all of them… fizz fam are mind readers love your channel!!! 💕
I love how they try each others things, hobbies without judgement or if anyone grew up with siblings who would judge you or not care what your hobbies are. I love seeing this. I’m 19, I play tennis, and sometimes I do swimming for fun but not one of my siblings would ever dream of coming to play tennis with me or watch me swim or join in so they are lucky to have each other.
Its amazing how our human bodies can twist like that, stretch in all directions. Coupled with Mias, Sienna and mama Fizz confidence to even attempt to climb those walls. Excellent

I´m a climber and I also struggle with dynos. One tip that has helped me it´s to visualize your handhold and always try to keep your body close to the wall. You can also try it with some extra holds and little by little take them away until you reach the dyno hold, hope it´s useful :)

A tip for the dyno grab the hold at the dead point ( this is the point where u stop going up) this actually helps coming from a young boulderer hope more climbing videos come soon xx
OMG I didn’t realise how hard Rock Climbing actually was. I am an adult and as tall as Sienna 4.9. I think to do this sport you have to be strong in your body, have long arm and legs and be light weighted . Sienna done well but did think she could have reached a few more than she did as she has to do a lot of Stretching in her Gymnastics. Have a great day guys . TOBY 📣
Hey Mia, for dynos there honestly isn’t much advice and tricks to it it’s just going for it and practice. I have been climbing since I was 4 and I always used to struggle so my coach made me do it every week keep practicing your really improving and I can’t believe you have only been doing it a year to say how good you are
When doing the heel hook, rather than thinking about pushing the heel down, think about pointing the toe down and facing in. That will create a much more secure heel hook!
heyy! i do rock climbing, my climbing range is around v6/ soft v7 at the moment. Just some tips for you guys: for dynos, i always try to overshoot the jump just a little, instead of aiming for the top of the hold, aim for just above it and it will be easier to catch. also jump with your feet, dont just reach up while keeping your feet on the holds as it will make it harder to propel yourself.i noticed when you were both climbing, your hips are really far away from the wall, causing you to have to pull yourself up and in at the same time, this will make your arms super tired on harder climbs so always try to have your hips close to the wall (sienna done quite well with this actually haha). Sienna you climb super great for someone thats only gone a couple times, you would do alot betterwith using just your toes on the foot holds instead of the bottom of your food, this gives you more height, lets you switch feet easier and pivot your food from left and right (this is helpful when needing to move body position from one side to the other!).
Also just watched the fingerboard part! its really adviced to not use these until youve been climbing for a while , normally a year plus. It can damage fingers and give you pulleys! So i really wouldnt suggest for sienna at the moment , especially as she is still growing (usually used for 18+ climbers and only for children with instructors).
I remember watching a video of Mia climbing a climbing wall (I don't know if thats the right term) in one of the festivals that they went years ago and i think she did one in Norway too. Mia is so good in bouldering
