Zhuhai, a prefecture-level city in Guangdong Province, a provincial sub-central city, and a Type II large city, is located in the south of Guangdong Province, on the west bank of the Pearl River estuary, on the verge of the South China Sea, with a land area of 1,736.46 square kilometers and a sea area of 6,050 square kilometers within the territorial sea baseline.
